A-Bodies...Big Motors / New Hemi Duster - FINAL ASSEMBLY

-
Say, that is a coincidense! I can usually down 4 bottles!

Weeb says he still has the cheap grill we bought last year.

Steve,
I don't know I bought the BIG 1.75 litre bottles... cause we go through some rum ....I'll have to introduce you to our family Rum recipe and the big blue cups.... also, if you still have the wiper pivots you offered to sell me a month or so ago and bring them along I'll still buy them.

We need to be in on the unveiling.

Grab your high-tech smart phone and upload a video and pics as it's being unveiled. We can't wait until you're back to post photos! We need, no... demand (yeah, that's it.. demand) some instant gratification too!

Wylde1.

LOL, I don't think we know how to do that!

As long as Denny approves the release of photos, I can post some from the hotel Friday night as long as I don't have too much Rum first

Thanks 76. ok please Mr. Denny may we have some more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just got home...it's 12:42am....actually TODAY we leave

glad I still have a couple of hours to tweak before we head for Columbus...see ya there...

Hope ya' like it!

Yup....Me too. Just got home.

Denny and Bout worked on installing the stainless window trim
tonight for over 5 hours and it was an S.O.B. but it is on now.

Remaining details will be handled in the AM and then we are off!

Finished interior pics are all I'm allowed to show you for now but I'm
pretty sure that by tommorrow night all will be revealed.

Oh....I'm not sure that the door armrests will be in there because
of a coating compatibility issue (please forgive).

x2 I keep checking in and no pic's must be all the Rum floating around out there. It's hot out here watching Baseball tryouts.

Okay guys with Dennys written permission and blessing, heres some pics of his car at the Nats, even one of him changing tires in the hotel parking lot (as HemiMark watches on) ...Sorry I didn't bring my computer to post last night. Look Skypower it seems your car was there, Hemi motor and all. I'll post other non-Denny cars in the Mopar Nats events forum later. I'll let Denny fill you in on the details of the ghost graphics...but they are cool..enjoy

Thanks 76 you just made my weekend. Denny I love the graphics, your the official ghost of the Mopar missile. Looks awesome. Hope you guys are having a great time.

Thanks Ross and it was great meeting you and your dad Dave.

Since it was so hard for the graphics to show up for the camera
in very bright sunlight (in person, much easier to see) I'll post a
few that show more detail. The contingency decals are all there
including "LEE BATTERY" on the tail panel and Carlton's number,
"PRO 302" on the glass.

There are a couple of shots where I shut off the lights in the shop
so the flash would illuminate all.

I passed that Duster several times.. and those graphics looked insane.. the whole car was intense.. it was great to see it in person

sure am glad I got to meet up w/ Ross and Dave....you guys fit right in.

and Weeb,Bro John,Big D,HemiMark,Mark (Bout),Jim,Todd,the other Mark.....thanks...had a good time....as usual!

Thanks Floyd,
next...work on finishing up a couple of projects I have had to shelve to make the Nats....

I went for a 2 mile drive before we loaded for Columbus.....there ..only put maybe 20 miles on it and now its tweeking time...first we crawled...next we will walk....then hang on....cause it'll be time to run! Whommmpaaaa!

Hi boys and girls! Just got home from the Nats and got unpacked.

As OMM eluded to (and I'm sure 76 orangewagon will confirm), this
car is almost impossible to accurately depict in a photograph and
none of my feeble attempts came out with any clarity. Let it suffice
to say that, in person, the graphics will knock your socks off!

I must admit that I was a tremendous fan of Don Carlton and the
depiction of his paint scheme in shadow brought a sadness to my
heart and a tear to my eye.

I was fortunate enough to see it Saturday morning and regretfully,
Denny (and HemiMark) had disappeared to parts unknown to yak with
their favorite (and maybe some not so favorite) vendors. I spoke to
OMM (John) and he gave me the guided tour.

I will tell you all that the ingenuity and engineering in this masterpiece
are unparralleled. From the chassis, the engine, the drivetrain, the A/C,
the interior to the trim and finishing it is above reproach. Oh! and I got
to see 62BT409's Hemi Demon Sizzler too as they were parked side-by-
side. The Demon will make you swoon as well!

I was present when some well known magazines began circling in, vying
to be the first to feature the subject.

As my schedule dictated I had to connect with some friends from the
east coast so I may not meet up with the Master until next year but
I will be looking forward to it!

Kudos to you all for some of the most interesting stuff I have ever seen.

SWEET! I hope she tweaks in good for ya! I am still slowly pecking away on the Dart- had to work this weekend so i guess next weekend i can actually accomplish something
