A Body WAGONS-Ho! A body Wagon Thread

-
@ Hyper_pak, I think it saddens and angers us all to hear about your wagon getting stolen. I've been talking about it here and we're watching here on the west coast. It's going to be kinda hard to hide when it shows up. hopefully we find it.

on a brighter note mine showed up yesterday!

I appreciate the support. Yours looks great! About how mine looked. I just got my PODS in the driveway today. I have found a couple of the wagon parts in there, lots of memories in a short time. Best of luck with yours. Enjoy!

Does anyone know anything about this one ? ?

I know many of us early A wagon owners have looked for years for replacement rear glass or panel glass or cargo glass what ever you call em weather strip seals to replace these almost 50 year old rubbers. Many of you know that you can get them from Australia but because of the cost and shipping I have yet to talk to anyone who has actually used them. Hemi Performance has them and say that they sell a significant amount of them every year but are unable or unwilling to supply any user information for feedback purposes. They also indicate that the seals are hand made and you just have to wonder what the quality is like.

I'm working with a manufacturer here in the U.S.A whom I've managed to peak his interest and is looking into fabrication of these parts. I've convinced him that a market actually exists for these and now I need your help to drive home this message.

Get on board with this and lets pull this thread back from the dead .
Let me know that you need and want this product. Start posting to this thread again and tell the industry we want these seals. I've seen too many great looking wagon projects to ignore the need for these parts. Let's all get behind this NOW.

I need a set...can you get them to make the ribbed silver insert, too?

I have not got that far yet. I think that once these seals become available, we can get manufactures of the fill strip to cooperate. I've sent a pm to Joeychgo and asked about a poll such as the TBI poll currently running to try and reach as many members as possible. Everyone entering the site will see this. After seeing the declaration of death for this thread makes me think that many are not actively using it.

We need a strong and accurate response for this topic. And I thank the respondents so for taking the initiative to jump on board. We need to hear from ALL the wagon owners.

Nice to see the pics of the family wagons/sleepers. Here's another one.

Happy to add my wagon to the thread. It isn't much yet as I just picked it up but with some time it will be great.

Fellow wagon lovers, Just a heads up. I posted a set of tail lights and housings for a 64 dart wagon in classifieds under exterior parts. I think my pic are to hight resolution and won't upload. pm me and I'll find a way around it.

Dart4forte, your wagon looks GREAT! Was it blue or did you want to do a color change? Either way it really looks good, LOVE the wheels!

I wanted blue, It's a flat hot rod blue with a shot of clear. I have another aluminum motor on the engine stand waiting for a new front end. Buddy of mine in Phoenix is bringing a complete early A front end to Spring Fling in April. The only hold upo right now is finding a head. I would like to keep the motor in the car now complete however push come to shove I'll rob that head for the new motor.

The 61 has very different front end and the steering box on the frame is funny to look at also. The wagon looks great.

There's some sweet looking Station Wagons on here.. Here's my junk.
