Okay, I'm gonna say it because no one else is.
I am truly disappointed and saddened by the response this Benefit Auction has received so far both in terms of the number of items being donated and the bids trying to secure them. I know it's going to heat up a bit as the closing time draws near, but sniping your FABO brothers and sisters at the last minute isn't the spirit of the event. The recurrence of "minimum bids" on the list is also pretty surprising and speaks for itself.
We're all struggling in a slow economy (and it's been that way for a few years now) but Rob and Kitty have been quietly catching serious hell for a very long time. If there's one person on this board who goes above and beyond to help the board members, it's RustyRatRod. It's our turn to check through the parts stash, open the wallets and have a little Pay It Forward.
In the past decade, we as a group have helped a LOT of deserving people through the cooperative efforts of the FABO Family. I hope all of you will think hard about this before scrolling on to the next thread and take a moment to put yourself in their place. Even a few bucks adds up ............

I have a full set of Drip Rail moldings and Vinyl Top trim for an A body I will donate. I also have a small bolt drum brake set up for an A body.....Includes new drums and shoes. All needed is some cleaning and will bolt right on. The shipping on the brake components will likely be pretty spendy but I will dont shipping on the trim parts in the U.S.
I have photos of the trim sets but not of the brake assemblies. Let me know if you are interested in all of the stuff to help them out. If the stuff happens to go in ND I will deliver.

Rob is a pillar in the FABO community. Over 37 THOUSAND posts. How many times has he been the first one to jump in with the correct diagnosis? If he received $1 for every time he saved a Fabo member time and money his problems would be gone. And that's just the public side. He did a dyno for me that helped me get my build right the first time. Check sent, no brainer.
