Anyone know any good wrecking yards in southern Ontario??

Oh I know of them I purchased some seat tracks from them at New Hamburg i didnt know they had a yard thought they just stripped cars and sold parts. Is it pick your own?
 
Nigel is not pick your own, not really what I would consider a wrecking yard. He buys, sells and parts cars and will get you what you want. He for sure will not part a valuable car.
He has good quality parts at perhaps a touch above over average prices, but generally speaking, you get what you pay for, and Nigel, to the best of my knowledge, doesn't sell parts, not worthy of selling, unless priced accordingly and stated the condition.
If you're looking for a bargain, probably not the place to go. But I certainly would recommend him.

He is a good guy to know, very knowledgable. Iv'e know him since the early 80s when he started his business (out of his parents house) National Moparts is quite a success story. He now does paint/body, upolstery, mechanical right onsite. Including full restos.
 
Man had no idea that Lawrence was crushing all his cars, Boy That Is A Shame. Great guy. There Is A Guy Just Cross The Hill Island Bridge. His Name Is Jack And Just Sells mopar parts. PM me and I'll give you his #.

I don't know about a complete car, but he is really reasonable. He quote me $70. for a complete door from a 1938. There some on eBay right now, that are gutted out, no window channels, window regulator...for over $400.
To give you an idea, I'm sure he would sell complete car instead of crushing it.

i e-mailed him asking for a few prices quotes on cars, one is a 71 oldsmobile cutlass supreme, and the other is a car i cant mention or else all you guys will look for it lol

hopefully he still the one i really want
 
Just came back from Sauble Beach and there were a couple of older wreakers on the back roads and hwy 6, that had some mopars of all kinds kicking around. Can't remember the name of the place on hwy 6 but it had a bunch of old buses out front. I always travel back roads and usually forget the highways and that's where stuff can still be found. Some stuffs around just a little harder to find. I talked to a guy who had a yard up there and said that at the time they were crushing stuff down around Southern Ontario a few years ago when steel was still a decent price, but that it wasn't cost effective for him to ship the cars that far down south. To much competition with the Southern wreakers. I drove by a place right beside the Qew on the way to Toronto, past Ford Drive on the right side who had a bunch old mopars and some other cars right in plain site off the Highway at the begining of the summer. Roads less traveled are full of surprises. GPS, coffee and a nice Sunday drive...

That one has been closed for years, but there are still parts there and the family, son and daughter have some sort of automotive museum in the basement of there houses.
Heard a story a couple years ago, Jay Leno flew in by helicopter and landed on the property, he was wanting to buy one of the super rare cars that they have....

The place is called crooked creek it's a 15min drive for me it has been closed for years but if you are local or they know you you can still buy parts or cars
it's a very cool place like stepping back to the good o'l days he also has barns full of some rare cars. last time i was there i asked if i could take some pic's they said no f***in way leave your camera and your cell in your car!!!
I've been fortunate enough over the years to see everything they have it's unreal!!!!
