Ok, throwing this out. Anyone game to riding down to the Zip Tie drags on the 18th of January? I know this is auction weekend and the Pavillions will be going. I was thinking those who are interested we could meet up at the Crackerbarrel on Chandler Blvd and the 10 early in the morning and head down to the Tucson Dragstrip. Figure staying until mid afternoon or maybe later depending on what’s going on. Might leave and head back up to the Pavillions later in the day.

I know it has been awhile. But I have not heard anyone say it is Mopar Saturday at the Pavillions.
If I can fix a very simple wiring problem, I think I will go to the 67th and Bell road event tonite

Three hours later: Actually the river is rising so I will not be able to make it. But you are probably in the car dirving,,,so you will not see this until you get home

Zip Tie Drags update

Ok, here’s the official word. Several of us are caravanning down Saturday morning, 18 January. The meet up time is 7:30am and we will leave at 8:00am. We will meet at the Cracker Barrel at I-10 and Chandler blvd. I’ll probably get there around 6 for breakfast. Anyone wishing can join us for the ride down.

I was thinking I wanted to go last time they did this in Tuscon, and may very well do it this time around.
I could take off from here about 6am and be at the meeting place in plenty of time.

the weekend is here once again...
automotive swap meet at gcc is Sunday Sunday Sunday....
Looks sunny clear and mid 60s for a few days...

Might have to put down the hammer and come out of the cave for a breather.:D

I am considering it, but after watching some of the past event video's and the freakin wind howling I'm not so sure.
That would totally ruin it for me.
I could drive for 3 hours to get there and turn right around and come back home.:D
