Just ordered a set for my Duster a couple days ago from Classic industries, should have them Mon. or Tues.

They still had plenty available at the beginning of the week, order was a breeze...for a Chevy 2 nova lol

I looked at classic before I called smith racecraft and their web site said out of stock. You must have got the last set

Just to let those interested in these, there is no provision for mounting the shocks. They didn't bother to let you know on the website, or in phone conversation. Had to order shock mounting studs. Would have been nice to know in advance.

Shocks, who needs shocks! lol

Seriously, that's really odd to overlook something that important. Did you have to weld on a tab to mount the stud or was their something there?

I tried to call Josh, no answer. To ask if there was a mistake or what. Ended up buying a set from 4WD.com $12 shipped. They will bolt into holes in the brackets.

A lot of people with fast leaf spring cars don't have the shocks in the stock position. There's a spot where they work better

Don't know about being fast, but my car is mini tubbed and springs moved in. Tell me more about shock location for this setup.

Both of my BB cars were mini tubbed. I never did a thing with the shock mounts. The angle just becomes less than stock. I don't' see this as a bad thing but I'm uncertain if it make a bit of difference anyway. The shock will see more movement and the least side loading in the mini tub position.

Beginning to wonder if i should make this my sig pic?? They shock mounts just not the studs for the shocks to sit on. Not a complicated part to get or make by any means. It is a race part not a stock replacment part.

What is difference from cal tracs? And do they make a set for inboard springs?
