Are you using those (for lack of better words) front suspension restrictors on your lower control arms to control drop?
Exactly they're basically travel limiter so that way the front suspension doesn't completely decompress so far

Fabulous car!! Best of luck to you as you head out. (Ok, ok...you could say I'm a bit partial to Demons with a 71 and a 72!)

He had me at Demon in the title of thread.

I had that concern as well I've already got a Dana on order with strange but the car with me in it weighs 2830

Plus I'm probably going to tub the car anyway this year so the dana and would be necessity. I scored New Old stock SRD tubs
Dang, your combo is about 400lbs lighter than mine!....my car is feeling fat now (3250 with me in it, lol). Beautiful car

Thanks it took a lot of work to get it to that point a lot of dieting including myself lol. to make this thing a competitive weight car especially against some super gas rigs

We're hoping to make an ahra modified eliminator race in September overat jeffers in Missouri if not we're going to plan on getting the car ready for the March meet or the bowling Green hot rod reunion

It should be shifting between 6500-7500 depending on what the car actually likes with the Nash I used to shift at 6800 when it had an auto

Having an 8. 3/4 I'm going to be starting with a set of 4.56s because of Doug Nashs super low first gear. But I used to run 4.88 in the car when it ran an automatic in. so I have those ready and on tap plus a set of 5.13. the slicks are said to be a 30 in but they actually roll out to being a 32 so it should be pretty good

Just as an FYI, Lebanon Valley Dragway has a Mopar Day in September, just in case you can't make the AHRA race. Would love to see you make some passes in your awesome Demon!

I would love to get back up to Lebanon I used to run my car there and Epping as well as a couple other places in division one area. New England dragway is still my home track even though I currently live in Texas and I'm moving to Kansas City eventually I'll move back home to Northeast

Was that car featured in Mopar Muscle a few years ago? Or maybe on Bang Shift.com?

Either way very cool, i like the all the vintage pieces.

Any plans of maybe a ‘71-style Pro Stock psychedelic panel paint job? How ‘bout a Grump lump scoop? Just throwin’ those out there, it’s cool as-is.

Thanks yes the car is one and the same it is in featured in car Craft bang shift Mopar muscle traditional rod and culture Good guys gazette national dragster and was just shot for the cover of speed and culture this fall. I have another hood for it that I'm putting together with a Mopar pro stock style scoop and that one will probably have some graphics and I might do another trunk lid and swap them out and just have the graphics on those

Probably shouldn't write this, but I pooped my pants from so much awe !

So update on the car as I've been super busy with in the last year between moving to a new state, getting my dream job in the aftermarket industry, travel for work, rebuilding my other hot rod and selling a stalled project, racing, free lance writing and what not. Here's some photos prior to the winter updates.

are those 660 center squirters with 4160 bowls?

Absolutely bitchin car!! Is this street driven? I am so glad to have found this thread, I have been drooling over the pics of the car for a long time now. Shared influences here with mine. The pics with the slots on back are the newest (on jack stands yet). Lugnuts should be here today and then on the ground for better pics. 30x12" M&H Racemasters and 3.91. Tunnel ram 440 with 660's here.

Man thanks that car is rad looks tough as nails! I don’t drive mine on the street as is a 15:1 small block with a filled block and aluminum rods plus a lot of titanium. I also have a very trick black magic clutch and a liberty prepped Doug Nash plus with the 4:56s it ain’t happy on the street.

Well, I have nowhere near the engine/drivetrain combo you have. What size tires are those? What suspension mods, if you don't mind? Do they hit at all?
