Brazilian Dodge Dart 76 (similar to 69 usa)

-
First I cleaned with a sand paper. Than, I used a soft wire brush on a drill

I'm a bit nervous because I didn't painted it. Next saturday will be the day.

Looks very nicely done. How are you cleaning it? Wire brush on a drill? Keep it up. L8r

Jim

Today I bought washprimer and primer PU.

Hope to work a bit more tomorrow.. I think engine bay will be ready in a short time periode.

by the way.. manual metal cleaning sucks! I spent almost 15hours to clean old paint and rust from engine bay (inside and outside). I think I will spend a few more hours to make it good enought.

Now I just have to put all pieces together ;)

think I will have a good car.. new joints, new bearings, new brakes.. Lets see it in a few months (or years)

just to make sure it will survive rust. I do not support any bad idea about nuts getting rust

Had to bit on it with a plywood pice
more than 3 punchs... finally it went to its place..

tomorrow I will bolt lower arms

love progress keep up the great work cant wait to see more

Hi, today I took 30 minutes to put lower arms in place

I miss some tools.. for example... none of my wrench is correct to the lowr arm pin nut size..

thus, I just put everything in place to tie everything later..

I used a bit of grease in K member holes where lower arms pins are.. I think it is important to make sure this holes are clean
