Bumps

-
If you have to "bump" your own adds day after day, your stuff is probally over priced for the current market, or JUNK, sometimes both.... just sayin...

Some times it takes well over a week for all the members to see an add and like me I don't even look in the for sale add's unless I have monies to let go..
:eek:ops: That's not all together true :happy1: I do look and if I like something or see something I know another member is needing then I pm the member in need :thumblef:

Just wounding why we needed to see this thread :happy1:
:eek:ops: I posted in it

Yeah, but when I was in school, the bumps seemed to develop much later than they do nowadays.... Must be in the water!!!!!

well, i usually do not bump my parts, but do bump the cars, cause they get left in the dirt rather quickly on this site due to traffik.

speaking of, let me go bump that thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rule #3 For Posting Ads- NO Bumping unless your a Goldmember then you can bump every 3 days. Obviously not enforced much or this topic wouldn't come up....but if you ask for a "Best Offer" and no price watchout,,,,delete delete. I've never posted an ad but I check them frequently and thats one rule I don't get. For one, the poster is going to get "offered" something different then his asking price anyway, and some guys don't now what its worth hense asking for offers.
And bumping doesn't mean its not priced right, it may mean that the right buyer looking for that part hasn't come across the ad yet. my $.02

To me it is real simple, if you think the sellers price is too high you can pass the part by or PM the seller and make an offer. The worst the seller can tell you is NO.
