Yeah, it is definitely too far when flipped.. Have you tried just sitting on a bucket or something and trying it? I would think you want it relatively close unless you are going full go-cart and learning to left foot brake haha. Is there any slop if you loosen the mounts? it kind of looks like it is twisted and you may be able to get it in a better position with just rotating it?Trying out the USCT dbw pedal bracket. In the first 2 pics, it's installed per their install video. Just seems really close to the brake pedal. I can just see myself braking and hitting the gas at the same time. I kinda did that with the stock setup on occasion. The last 2 pics, I flipped the pedal bracket over and moved it to the other side of the firewall bracket.. Seems too far. I've flipped and flopped this thing trying to find a happy medium. I just wanted easy but I think I'm gonna have to mod this thing or start from scratch. Last Pic is my stock location from an old Pic. I thought about sticking a stock pedal in and measuring but then I remembered that I gave my stock pedal to sone dude in Missouri. @JBrian
Also, over the weekend, I did some firewall touch up. Wanted to block off a few not needed existing holes. Plugged and painted. Added just enough runs to look factory . I considered repainting the entire bay again but that's a whole process. It'll be fine.. Just a ratty dart.
Pretty much it for my weekend.. Snow hit Sunday and it was plow plow plow for 2 days.

It's slotted for side to side. First/second pic is slid all the way right in the slots.. 3rd/4th pic is all the the left in the slots. I played with it for a while (giggity) and it just never looked right. I feel like I want it somewhere between the two.Yeah, it is definitely too far when flipped.. "Added just enough runs to look factory" I'm definitely going to keep this as my reason for runs in the future.

I won't fire it until probably march.ir April. May is a good month to roll out. When is this thing going back together? I want to see it make some snow angels!
I wonder if they designed that bracket on a B-Body and just assumed it would be good on an A. Hope you feel better soon. Maybe your immune system was still beat down from the Vid.I won't fire it until probably march.ir April. May is a good month to roll out.
I was planning to slap on the headers, motor mounts and get it primed this weekend. And the drop it in and bolt up the transmission. I kinda to the point of it needs things in place before I can move on.
But, I started feeling really bad towards the end of the day and freezing. Something has me down again.. Worse than covid a few weeks ago. So, that may delay me. Buried in sweatshirts and comforter now, waiting for theraflu to kick in.
Was a slower day at work today and I had time to make a new pedal bracket, early in the day, before I started feeling bad. I moved the pedal location to the right with option for 1_1/4 to 2" adjustment beyond the USCT bracket. No pics at the moment. I have the final piece just tacked. Thought about measuring the Rams pedals.. I like the way they feel.
So, I'll be selling the USCT pedal bracket. Maybe I'm just weird...
Not sure on the bracket.. I'm sure it's fine for somebody.I wonder if they designed that bracket on a B-Body and just assumed it would be good on an A. Hope you feel better soon. Maybe your immune system was still beat down from the Vid.
