Camshaft timing when the sprockets are ONE tooth off from straight up.

Depending on the build, I will advance most street type cams 4 degrees.....all you are doing is shifting the power band lower in the rpm range. So far I've never had a lazy engine doing that. There was one teen that was very lazy down low but a buddy installed the .480 lift cam using the dot method knowing I had a degree wheel etc. Dang thing was plain nothingness until it hit 2200 rpm and ran like a raped ape from there until 6200. It ran a 13.51 @102 with a 2.2 60'. Had to run slicks on it (72 Demon) to keep it from blowing the M/T ET Streets off going into 2nd gear but the car didn't have enough guts to do a burnout even in the water box.

sounds like your buddy needed more convertor.

My brain looks at matters literally most of the time.
The thought of a sexually assaulted primate just seems funny, strange and somewhat outrageous.
First of all, Apes have incredible strength. You'd have to be stronger and more determined than the ape to rape it.
Secondly, why would one intentionally rape an ape? If the attacking ape were met with resistance, wouldn't the attacker be better off finding a willing participant?

Oh for sure! The one in it was stock....we quit running the car when the transmission started giving up the ghost but I thought the car might have a bit better 60' with 4.88's in the back lol. Also having 360 heads on the teen didn't help the CR any either. Dang thing didn't want to run at all until we ended up with 50 degrees of total timing!!!
