Can you ID this Mopar gearbox?

It's a good news as I'll be able to use my '71 driveshaft onto my '66 output shaft without changing the yoke.... I read in Jamie Passon book that 1966 was the only year the A833 had a 26-teeth output shaft spline
Thanks you, Sirs.

My 67 Barracuda with the Commando 273 had the 26 spline output shaft A-833 also.

Some news
Today, I disassembled my Inland shifter. It needs a new chrome job

Internal parts :

The screw that hold the cable is really tiny : it's a 1/16 allen wrench.

The good news is that the cable cannot be frayed : it consists of only one steel strand. So, reinstalling it should not be tricky...

Next step now : cleaning and painting the three shifter rods.

WD-40 and tin foil might help that shift handle. Here is what it did for the front bumper on the 65 Dart.

The shift handle surface is severely rusted and the chrome is ruined
I would like to have a professional chrome plating job. I’m waiting for a quote

A problem about the bellhousing.

I want to install this A833 into my Demon, but my current '71 3-speed bellhousing doesn't accept 4-speed gearbox.
So, I have to use the 1966 bellhousing coming with the gearbox
Ok...

BUT, I saw that the Z-bar linkage attachment is different on the 1966 BH and on the 1971 BH :(

It took the dimensions of the two BH ball studs
They are both 6 cm long (or 2.36 inches, or 2(23/64) in.) including the bracket thickness

With a little luck, maybe that the BH ball stud, despite the difference of mounting bracket, is in the same location in 1966 and 1971..?

Any help before the 3-speed gearbox removal will be greatly appreciated :thankyou:

Some news

The /6 bell housing has been degreased and painted. From '66 red to '71 blue (not the correct blue, but it will make the job) :)

Today, the Inland shifter is back from the chromer craftman. He made a nice job.
Now and before :

And the gearbox has been degreased and painted.

Now, I'm waiting for a shipping quote from Dan Brewer for some parts I have to replace (bearing retainer, seal, gaskets,...)

Reassembling the shifter is very tricky :BangHead:

As soon as the lockout lever is slipped onto the shifter, the cable is invisible and unreachable... no way to guide the cable through the lockout lever hole
I assume that at the Inland plant, they used longer cables that, once installed, were cut just above the lockout lever.

With a little patience and resourcefulness, I've been able to reinstall the lockout handle and its cable : I slightly enlarged the lockout lever tiny hole, I centered the cable thanks to a little piece of rubber hose and miracle, when I slipped the T-handle onto the shifter, the cable passed through the hole...
I blocked the cable with the little Allen screw and it was over :p

The gearshift linkage has been reinstalled.

Instead of original clips, I used more modern "R" shaped clips.

The five gears engage easily (the reverse one with a sound "clac"... is it normal?) and the lockout lever works well.
