ftfy ;DI’m sorry I should have said I don’t watch or rarely what online build it technical videos. To much time wasted in my eyes watching someone else work when I could beor should be doing it myselfat walmart cruising for chicks.
Damm that's funny.
Oh, you have a minivan. Well look at it this way, once your kids are grown and gone and if you behave, the wife may let you sell it and get yourself a car. My taurus, it has 310 horsepower and I've blown away a high output V/6 charger with no problem whatsoever. Tell dal and naan that the man says hello.Dan Dan the minivan man likes his taurus with dal and naan!
Most likely notMini van Dan... LOL...
THAT'LL STICK....
You posted a picture of your car at last. I probably would've not done that
Like white on rice. Most likely not
Looks like something you'd drive. LOL
I really hate to ruin your day but I don't own a mini van.MiniVanDan......
We just finished up a 409 inch SBC with Pontiac heads. It was mostly used parts with the exception of new pistons, lifters, valve springs, bearings, etc. Factory 400 block that has been raced for years, used crank, used rods, heads are 40 years old, etc. I think the owner has roughly $12K in the engine and it made 680 hp with a Dominator carb. The Pontiac heads are pretty trick. They were very trick 40 years ago and they still work pretty well today. If you had to build a 680 hp SBC with new parts it would cost more than $20K.It's hard to put a figure on this, as machine shop cost vary from one place to another. And parts cost, depends on where you shop. A good friend of mine built a 650 horsepower 406 sbc. He bought his parts off of eBay stores and they were all name brand parts.
You've seen my rides... bad *** usually comes to mind...Looks like something you'd drive. LOL
I seen on the news that there's wild fires in california. I hope that you and family are safe.Dan Dan the minivan man likes his taurus with dal and naan!
I'm sure that it would. I was wrong about the time frame of the build. Randy built his 406 sbc roughly 10 years ago, man how time goes by. Going by today's cost of things I can believe $20k for the 680 hp sbc that you are talking about. We just finished up a 409 inch SBC with Pontiac heads. thanks for your concern, i'm sure some members here are closer to the affected area but that's like 4~500 miles away from me.I seen on the news that there's wild fires in california. I hope that you and family are safe.
Actually the taurus is the wife's. I have a 2019 Colorado. Your welcome. I was only trying to be nice,i do not own a minivan. closest i've come there was a 68 chevy sport van 108. wonderful little van. 10/10 would own another one.
your 2018 taurus looks like something a midlevel regional manager at ross dress for less would drive. that's like, the car that resourcing reserves for you on a business trip because they don't like you. if khaki cargo shorts and white new balance were a car, that would be it.
