I'll give it a shot (never went to a high school prom myself).

The “formal” black/gold color scheme reminds me of a senior getting all dressed up and ready to take the Prom Queen to the dance.

you're right! my first thought when I looked right at it was good Lord that ugly brown with black down the center looks like a big damn poop stain!
Okay but saying that's not cool you know what I mean? I really like the car and I don't really have a problem with the color but thinking of a name for it... all I could think of was "poop stain"....
