Perfect car for a 408 stroker... damn I've been thinking lately about how I really need a convertible...

In 6 months my wife isn't going to be able to stop my crazy mopar spending lol. Maybe I'll be daily driving a classic... and get rid of the renegade...

Edit... forgot link

I haven't touched my car since last time I replied in here...

I had my national licensing exam this weekend, the patient portion, so I haven't had time to be on the internet or even look at my car except when I walk past it in the garage.

I'm happy to say I passed all 4 sections of the exam (dental fillings, deep cleaning, crown/bridge and root canals)!!! 1.5 months and I'll officially be a Dentist!

I had the best assistant a man could ever ask for, my wife. She is the best!

Got a letter from the HOA about some oil spots in my driveway.... hopefully purple power, some scrubbing and pressure washer gets it up enough...

Bought a 15x12ft roll of carpet and laid it down in the garage, also put a bunch of cardboard under the carpet for extra protection.

Looks good and will help with any future stains hopefully

Ooh I also picked the kids up from school today.

I wish I knew where the little holes were behind the back window so I could put on my little dodge triangle trim piece things...

Doc, for the oil stains I get on my concrete driveway I spray Oreilly or a-zone degreaser on it and let it evaporate and dry on its own, typically just one atttempt works, 2 in some cases- make sure to saturate well it has never failed me

What kind of decreased? An engine degreaser? A regular degreaser like purple power?

I would NEVER opt to live in an HOA community. They get to vote. The vote of the neighbors determine how high you must cut your grass, whether you can put up a fence, what color your mail box must be.................

You made a choice that I would never have made. When you have the big $bux rolling in once you pass your exams, get a place that 'YOU OWN AND CONTROL'!

We owned a house and then sold it a couple of years ago. I miss owning a home, but in dental school repairs were to expensive with not having an income anymore. All in 1 semester our heater went out in the winter, then ac broke after thab followed by a main water line busting... on student loans we could keep paying to fix everything.

The plan is to buy something on like 1/2 acre or so and build a little house for the family with a shop out back for me...

Whew!! I have grown to like you. I found many of my traits inherent in your way of doing things. My learning curve wasn't that much different than what you're going through. I got this massive red flag when you mentioned HOA! At least I have context. I wish you better living quarters in the (very near) future. Live & learn.

My cheap broken way of figuring out how to work on these old mopars lol.

I agree the HOA sucks. I thank you for the well wishes. Maybe Tony will just get another house with a shop out back and rent it out to me

To clear up oil marks, I pour on regular sugared Coke and let it dry. The follow with either the purple stuff or simple green. Works like a champ.

That's a good start but won't for-sure stop leaks from getting on the floor. Ask me how I know...

Get a piece of sturdy visqueen and put it under the carpet and cardboard. That will make sure you don't lose your cleaning deposit when you leave that joint.

I'll still put down cardboard when I work on the car, so it's like triple protection. Most of the stains are from when I first got the car, I've been much better since.

I'll try the coke tomorrow

First, congratulations!

We have these mats with a raised border to contain water when the snow melts off cars. Then clean up with a wet vac.
Not great for working under cars, but will contain any leaks.
Cleaning concrete can be a real pain. Nothing like a HOA around here. Im lucky to have my place, 50 acres, 10 of which is my yard. 8 outbuildings for various uses.cutting grass is the biggest drawback.lots to look after.
I dont regret having such a big place, but sometimes it can be overwhelming.

Cleaned the driveway... for like 3 days... the stains are as good as they are going to get...

Brakes suck after changing the grommet. The fronts have been sticking. I bled the brakes for to long today. I get no air bubbles out of the rear and none that I'm seeing out of the front, but the fronts are still sticking (both sides) for about 3-5 seconds after letting off of the brake... so somewhere in the system the pressure is staying on....

It's either the MC internal seal broke when I changed the grommet or the prop valve is bad... the prop valve is the only part that has never been changed. Prop valves are like 80 I think, and I found another MC on Amazon. I don't know if I should change both at the same time or try just the prop valve first.

Onto a better note, something I did do correctly... I made a gate for the stairs and it works flawlessly.

Now. Time to go hang out with Tony, wonder what day he working on cars.

Oh. If anyone is looking for a 69 M-Code dart there is one listed on FB right now for... 100k! To rich for my blood, could get a bad as 70 super bee for that price.
