Edelbrock 1406 whistling

gunfire in the late '60's took out my hearing.

Getting married in the late-1980's took out mine.....

I am having this problem with my new oem carter 2 bbl... i have tried adjusting it and tightening it... only to have the whistle come back... what are my options...


BTW I revived this thread instead of starting a new one because it felt like the right thing to do
