martin I'll see what I can come up with for you I have a call out right now. I've me a couple days. How soon are you needing the pcm?

johnparts. I need info. Car or truck motor? I know that my buddy had an 08 300C last week (hopefully the PCM was not sold with the motor) and if he still has it hopefully it was not crushed in the car. They don't hold on to them long.

I have a truck PCM sitting in my garage but I was told that if I'm using a 727 then the PCM needed to be a 2005 ram 2500 manual trans pcm, is this correct? If not how can I use what I currently have? Do I buy:$1000 for harness from Plumbfloored and a $ 125 for pedal for the drive by wire? then I can use the diablo CRM to tune out the TCM so I can run my 727?

That's pretty much as I understand it. Johan said they enabled a ton of hardware switches to turn off things like skim transmission egr bcm fcm all that fun stuff we don't need.

Well them in my calculations I only need a harness and pedal... that's only $1100 ish to have my EFI... here I was thinking it was cheaper for me to go with the carbed XV set up $1200.

and you can run a factory harness me and SuperT almost have a wiring diagram for converting the harness

I dont have a factory harness either... so either way it's gotta be close to what I's pay for a custom harness right?

Figure out what year the PCM is you have and search craigslist for a truck in that year range being parted out. I picked up a complete 06 Charger front (everything in the engine bay) harness for mine that way and it was only $200
 
I can't figure out what pcm I have is.. I've googled it and nothing.

One other question Do I have to take the crank rear bushing out?

why do u have a diablo logo in ur sig?
 
04 ram was that a hemi? and with it being auto does the diablo cmr have a tcm dissabling option so I can use a 727?
 
I have a few stickers on it including one B&G chrysler specialists sticker.

The first one says:

If you don't know what B&G may have done to the PCm you should contact them and see if they can tell you. My guess would be they keep recored of what they did to them by the serial number. You may find the trans has been disabled.

Once the tune is pulled off the PCM, any changes can be easily viewed in CMR.

I've looked at several BG tunes and they are barely considered tunes at all. The few haphazardly made changes can be easily fixed.
 
Yeah I just need to know if I can use this PCM or if I need to start looking for another... I'm just a little lost with the security key and SKIM issues.:read2:
 
I can get truck harnesses. I'm curently waitng on a list. That will include a few PCM's (3 maybe more) harnesses (not sure if they are motor harnesses or the one off the PCM) "I can get the DBW stuff all day long." I'm told so getting the peddles or the modules should not be an issue. Give me until monday afternoon and I'll let you guys know what I have access to.


USCG charger. You can get away with the pcm you have. If the cmr will turn it off then you will be good to go. If not chris over at hotwire will remove the trans stuff for 150.
