Much better equipment! That Jackson will be a much better guitar to start with than the damaged one! And the fender mustang is great!
I've been working on the first six cord's of enter sandman..lol..Much better equipment! That Jackson will be a much better guitar to start with than the damaged one! And the fender mustang is great!
Jackson is a GREAT quality guitar.
Along with Charvel, the sister company, they used to have a very unique neck profile, which I got spoiled to when I bought me second guitar in 1986.
Caution- "House Of The Rising Sun" has a wicked up pick, that's a great exercise, but very difficult to master, to the point of being much easier to leave out in order to stay in time.
I already bought headphones to save my marriage... LOL..If you're a Metallica fan- try "For Whom The Bell Tolls".
It's fairly basic, but a great lesson in clarity and cleanliness of playing and timing.
Plus it's got a bonus of having that bell at the beginning, which you can use to tune the E string.
When I was just starting at age 16, I would play that song six hours straight some days.
I'm sure my mom loved that.
Yes so far I'm impressed with the amp..I've never seen that brand guitar but that means nothing. Looks like you got a nice amp though.

When I first got home I was like I didn't know if I got ripped off or what I was just on a mission to get what I wanted to get... Could have got one cheaper and smaller that would have worked but it was just a little more for the next one and a little more for this one and it seemed like the best bang for the buck. Speaking of which when I got home and did some comparison shopping which I should have done before I left but I was in such a hop that the guitar was broke after all that waiting I didn't care. I found out that it looks like I got a pretty good deal on it...
It has an app that connects to my Wi-Fi and I think I can control it from my phone.. per-dee-cool...
Here's some of my junk. A 1967 Sears Silvertone Bobkat made by Harmony. And my Pignose G60VR 60 watt all tube amp. I have more, but this is my main electric. I've had Gibsons and Fenders, but none sound as good as this Silvertone.

Well tubes kick ***. I bet you're glad you kept it.
I put that Jack wheel on ignore..Oh no. Our political views are pretty much spot on......they're just a bunch of 50 and 60 something go nowhere dopeheads. I quit all that back in my 20s. lol

Playing guitar is all about fun, not someone's political views...
At least for me it is...

My first electric guitar was a Silvertone Amp in case that I got in 1974, I sure wish I still had it!
