We got light cars, I thought 302 had poor flow, doesn't a 318 head flow better?Light car.
302 / 5.0 heads flow real nice.
It took a while before 360 became a viable platform some still think of it as a boat anchor compared to 340, most can't look past which engines the factory deemed performance.
O quit it now, put the dang money in a 318 and go run low 11's.
Cheap isn't going to get a small cube engine in the sub 11's. So quit being so cheap. lol

My ear tachometer says 8k before he staged it on that rev....I‘d be surprised if that engine has a bore less than 4.00 inches. It may be a skosh smaller but not much.

Am I missing something, or are you guys? K/gas, that's a Ford six. Probably 10 or 15 grand worth of Ford six. He'll, we don't even know it's a ford!
(And a 272 is usually a y-block early 50s replacement for the flathead. I have one, [actually a 239, 1954], I usually say it won't pull a fat girl off a tricycle. Not strictly true.... it won't pull a skinny girl off a trike either).
