Looks like you got a mess on your hands. Better you than me. lol Glad the owner is good to work with that's a plus. How you planing on fixing that?
Well, from my point of view, I already did fix it. lol. Spent all day straightening metal and fitting. Just start throwing glue at it I guess. Gonna sandblast and epoxy. Not sure if I should glue right to the epoxy or grind back to steel.

Always been a glue to metal kinda guy but it sticks to the epoxy real good and seals from getting rusty.

Stuffed the Scamp in the corner tonight so the plane will fit in the garage.

and pictures make them look better than real life so I got a 10 footer. lol
At least you are down to ten feet. I think you started at 30 . LOL That thing is flawless and you know it. OK, just between you and me they are never flawless but nobody is as intimate with it as you. IT'S FLAWLESS.

Sound deadner on the front so I can put everything in under the dash.
I really like the way it went on stuck real good to truck bed liner and was only about 60 bucks for 50 square feet.

Looking really good Fred. Looks like your shop is plenty big enough to work on the plane, and the scamp.
28 by 40 and need to add on to it.
You remember working in your dads shop in the good old days and riding all the motor cycles he bought? The memories are priceless to me.
Love him still and miss him lots.

Yes indeed it was a fun youth. I am adding on to my shop this spring, run out of room.
I had lots of room till my kids moved all there stuff in the shop.
Not disappointed at all I love my kids and glad they put up with me. lol

OK need to start looking into wiring next the thing I suck at the most. So I need to ether replace it all or fix what I have.
American autowire has a nice complete harness for 1000 bucks that is better than painless wiring at around 700. My wiring is in good shape but the normal bulk head plug in sucked so is now deleted.

Yow, that looks like a nightmare. Mine was pretty intimidating too, but once I strung it out and put it in place most all the loose ends fell into place. But mine didn't have all the added on extra wires. You can handle it.
