I just followed along with the factory service manual and refurbished my stock wiring. It's real easy as all is color coded.

Same here BP I can do house wiring just suck at cars.I suck at wiring. Its weird for me. Been working on cars all of my life. My Dad taught me how to wire houses. That stuck pretty well. Can't seem to handle both LOL
I guess I can do it just gotta start on it one wire at a time and not look at all the other wires.I just followed along with the factory service manual and refurbished my stock wiring. It's real easy as all is color coded.

Was going stock I never looked at anything else. All my gauges work so far anyway.Fred, you keeping the stock instrument panel, or going aftermarket? Now that I got the Barracuda past that point, I wish I would have gone with an aftermarket (like AutoMeter) not a lot more $ if you have to do wiring, add gauges, and gauge repair.
all new to me Craig been out of touch with muscle cars since your Challenger I think.Fred, you keeping the stock instrument panel, or going aftermarket? Can't keep up I'll just change things as I go. Not wanting to any big changes in the body so it can be put back to stock if need to.It sure cost more to build a car today, than back then. but i gotta say there is a lot more cool stuff available today.
We had this conversation a long time ago Steve about doing it right and plan on doing it that way just scares the bejssus out of me. lolIf your dash is still out Fred, I would be tempted to do it on bench. One wire at a time and add a new style of bulkhead/fusebox, seeing as how the old bh was deleted?
A MH repop underdash harness for our 67 cuda is like $700-800. I have a spare 67 harness that I may replace one wire at a time??

Nice idea are you able to get the bigger wires connected in that? and how do I find it.I deleted my original bulkhead connector. Thought it was ugly and I wanted a cleaner look. Planning on using an aircraft style connector, like this one.

SWEET !!!View attachment 1715453554 Headers came in today so looks like I'll be working on my car again.
Radiator will be in next week, so will order a new wiring harness next.
American auto wire from Classic I think. Looks like a complete kit but not cheap about 1,000. Any better ideas would be great, I don't mind spending the money on a good kit. What harness are you going with?
Not sure how I will run the exhaust but with the bigger fuel tank will have to dump out front of the back tires. You will like those headers. tti stuff is good stuff . I still think you should consider there exhaust system. I am sure they will make it without the H pipe . No cheesy muffler shop needed
