Tony Angelo is putting a Gen3 hemi in a 70 dart on his youtube channel called "Stay Tuned". Very interesting. Check it out.

Bleh, underpowered, overpriced and ugly
Did i mention unsupported?

At this point, id rather see the guy put the 'yote engine in

???

Underpowered? At 485 hp?

Unsupported? Haven’t watched it yet but based on FB posts, bet it is almost a bolt in.

To each their own, just seems like your response is like he was putting an LS in it.

Why? Because it would be more work?
no, about the same amount of work, more power and more more more options

the aftermarket coddles the LS like a crown prince and anything mopar gets kicked around like a redheaded stepchild

Funny, I see the LS as more work since the G3 is much closer to a bolt in. And I think the G3 makes more power, at least for the common swaps.

No argument on the aftermarket support, but it’s not like there isn’t anything for the G3. There’s even aluminum blocks that hit the market recently.

Either way, you’ve answered my questions so even if I don’t agree at least understand your view.

you know, my duster started off as a slant 6 and now runs a 408
i betcha it wouldnt have taken much more work to slap in G3 or an LS
