Harold's F'ing me over - big time.

Back in July 08, I paid the infamous "Harold" $400 for 2 sets of headers. It took ~ 1 year to get 1 set. But I'm still waiting on the second. Every time I threaten legal action....he calls and gives me a EVERY excuse imaginable.

I'm so tired of this crap. Last month he told me "by the end of the week..."
yeah right.

I'm starting legal Action this week.

I was warned.....now you are. IMHO; avoid send him $$ like the plague....
 
Dont know how many times I've heard this here. Shoulda gone c.o.d...

Wow, sorry we live in a world where people do things like this...

I dont know who this guy is, but I DO know who this guy is...biggest intarwebz criminal PERIOD.

There is a site created to track him. yeah that bad...check it out.
Maybe they willbe interested in creating a "post office most wanted" board of some kind....

This link confused me a bit..

Harolds the guy that makes spitfire headers. His customer service sucks incredibly. NEVER send him money prior to recieving your stuff.
 
should have started legal action months ago. stop playing around with him and just do it already..



and what did i tell ya before you ordered from him? DO NOT pay up front.

swing, I am sorry to hear about the problems.
 
I was warned....but "trusted" he'd changed. Yeah, right. lol.

I just got the check he endorsed today, so that'll get the ball rolling. Hes a tremendous BS'er. Nice guy on the phone. I'm sure Madoff was nice on the phone too!

I bought a set about 1 yr ago, paid up front, received 3 weeks later.
BUT I had made it very clear to him that I had family in the area that I visit every 8-10 weeks.

He does sound very sincere over the phone, he throws that church going yada yada stuff out there, I guess to disarm people.

I just sold them not long ago, they are all right for the money, but not what I wanted in the end.
 
i wish someone more reputable would make these...i would then buy a set
 
buy a set and give them to me, hell I'll go into biz. After I reverse engineer them and make a couple sets, you can have your set back, LOL, really, just after church and a visit to moparmisfits,com. not kidding...

Seriously, can no one else make these? :confused: I will be interested in a set at some point on my trip down Restoration Road but I will not buy from him. I am a "touch" high strung (so I have heard) & I would be on my way to visit him if they did not show up when promised. I have yet to learn how to weld but I may start sooner than expected & just work on making these headers until they are perfect; sounds like there is a market.
 
Hand making headers is a lot of work. Harolds problem is probably too many orders and waaaaay behind. But he takes more orders to get more cash to keep working,etc,etc. Not defending him,just thinking out loud...

Im going to build a tubing bender as soon as I have the materials. I want to make my own headers,roll cage etc...

But dont ask me to make headers unless you want them in your next life,lol...
