How do I remove pins from ignition switch connector?

I'm sorting out some wiring issues and cleaning things up. I disconnected the ignition switch connector that runs to the steering column and saw it's seen some overheating:

I want to clean both ends of the connectors to ensure a good connection there but couldn't figure out how to get the pins out of the plastic housing. Is there a trick for these? Didn't get any information in a search, so guidance would be appreciated!

I've been pulling out all the previous-owner afflicted wiring and bringing it closer to stock so I can get it running again, then do the amp meter bypass.
 
You need thin wall tube either plastic or metal. The hobby shops used to sell it. The inside of the connector is pins are split and flare out. You need tubing to go OVER them and compress the tangs
