63 your a youngster LOLI looked at many Darts before and pulled the trigger. I went through so much to get it that I won’t sell except for crazy money. I have done a complete restoration and after all the work I can’t see at 63 going through it all over. Plus I will pass the car onto my son, who will pass it onto his son as an heirloom.
I hear you, and I completely agree with not being into "pretty" anymore. I built the 70 Dart, and it was great, drew lots of attention everywhere I went. Eventually I found that no matter how far away I parked from all of the other cars in a parking lot, it always drew a crowd. One Saturday morning, I parked my car where there were no other cars for 200 feet in any direction, and my wife and I went into the store. 30 minutes later, we came out to find more than a dozen other vehicles parked around the Dart, yet still a significant area of empty space between the store and the area where I had parked. I also got tired of cleaning the car every weekend, and just wanted to drive it without worrying about dust or dirt inside or out, that is one thing I really don't miss. I still have a pretty car, my 76 Ventura, it's a 39k original mile survivor, that has had 1 repaint, done at my wife's insistence. I drive it some, but don't really worry about it much, it sees gravel roads frequently, and has been driven in rain many times, but has not seen a winter in 30 years or more. I intend to just drive it, no more shows for me, tired of that scene too. My 75 dart, if I ever get it running properly will never have anything beyond a rattlecan flat black paint job as long as I own it, I just don't care. My wife has suggested on several occasions that my daily driver 1990 Bronco could stand some love, and she's not wrong, but I really don't see it happening at this point. No offense meant to anyone and may be a reason that I don't enjoy my Scamp I'm just not into "Pretty" any more been there done that. More into the not so good - cheap and worry free paint job with everything under the paint top notch. That's how my C10 is and really enjoy it. Decided it's time to put the Scamp on the market and move on with life. Retired and really looking forward to the Studebaker truck project don't know how it will end up but it will be an adventure been a good ride but sorry no more Mopars in my stable

Again no offense to anyone just got real tired of the local Pretty Boy crowd. There's a local person that I've known for years with a real nice 68 Camaro that constantly wins at shows he's always in a non brand specific class put the Scamp up against him once and took first place haven't been friends with him and his brother since and I quit going to shows. Just took the C10 to a get together of mainly local people from back in the day. A person that I know had his 68 C10 there. He spends lots of money on paint and interior but mechanics are so so. My truck got just as much attention if not more than his and he was OK with that. Seriously considering putting a 4 cylinder in my 50 Studebaker truck looking at the GM "IRON DUKE"I hear you, and I completely agree with not being into "pretty" anymore. Enjoy your C10, I think they are pretty cool trucks, my best friend has had plenty of them over the last 35 years or so, and I might even have had 1 or 2 myself.

I would have given him either or both .My buddy had a 1970 duster and was slowly turning it into a strip only car. Indy 245 cnc 408 engine with some good parts and just wasn’t running as well as it should. He spun first time trial on new tires Friday night after a not so good tire heat using the transbrake so on the phone I told him to footbrake it. It ran a 7.10 on that pass but probably should be 6.50’s if not faster. He seemed pretty happy. Saturday he listed it for sale turn key for 18,000.00 or trade for Harly. Sunday a guy brought his Harly and left with a dusterView attachment 1715742812View attachment 1715742813
