Pull pistons and clean the ring grooves, dingle ball hone it and run it. Its a slant...its replaceable. Whats the worst that could happen?

Yes I got the memo on that, but I'm a bit of a maverick in that regard.

By the looks of the Cake on #1 cylinder wall, would say the chances are poor.

Depends how deep the corrosion goes into those cylinder walls.

How much do want to spend on it? This will be a very expensive rebuild.

Looks like 800 in machine work and maybe 200-260 in parts.
Usually a slant is around a 1200 dollar motor to rebuild ,figuring some new exhaust valves.

Well, rats got I my old building,and pissed in the lifter Valley ,after I had it punched .030 w/ new cam bearings installed.. needs a through out douchin'

Not sure? Cylinder 6 is usually the 1st one to go flat being the farthest from the radiator. You could have a dead hole on each end, it might balance out???
