Well,Kyle messed up good this time. Suspended for the rest of the weekend. How many in favor of making that permanent?

I'm glad they sat him out for the rest of the weekend. I don't think it should go any farther than that, except for making him lighter in the wallet and maybe taking a few owner points away. The points aren't such a big deal since he wont be able to catch Harvick now in owner points, but there are a lot of good charities that could benefit by a monetary penalty.

I like him hes young and keep them on their toes.Nascar need this you know with Dale The Intimidator Earhart gone.

Beware rant ahead.

Is there an f-ing difference between a ford, chevy, or mopar in NASCAR?

Yes, each auto company has it's own engine development program, but since NASCAR specifies a wedge motor, four barrel carb, flat tappet cam.. etc. Are there any REAL differences?

NO.

How about the Cars, they all use the EXACT same chassis. They all use the EXACT same Body.

Nascar is F-ing spec racing. I used to watch a lot of racing mainly for the tech. I loved to hear people debate the relative merits of various technologies.

From NASCAR, NHRA, IRL, to F1 they have all developed rules that over time have turned every car to be exactly the same. Automotive race technology development has stagnated.

About the only racing where I see any interesting developments is in Off-road racing, and land speed racing where about the only rules (beyond the various classes) are safety related.

Sorry for the thread high jack.

Regards,

Joe Dokes

He's a punk...Proves it time and time again.
To bad because he is a great driver.

He probably didn't mean to wreck him...just rattle his cage

let's see..
doesn't pole-put.... bad fast.... got a bit of a temper....
pissed when he doesn't win... excitin to watch
doesn't hold back..and lets you know how he really feels

kinda wish some of that would rub off on them other boys

Like said before Nascar is GAY. Does anybody actully watch this traveling circus.

I watch NASCAR all the time...and I don't think I'm gay?

however ...when I built my last ride...I was accused of color coordinating my porno red interior....but I did refuse to say that the car had a "theme"

I can see him being a bit ticked at Hornady, but Hornady got a bit loose when he passed the slow truck.
Busch tapping him the back is one thing but to push him for that distance and turn him into the wall is total overkill.
I think he should sit the week-end out AND pay (out of his own pocket) for the truck that he destroyed.

He most definately meant to wreck him. Watch the video. Turned him into the wall at 140 mph. That is the same way Tony Roper hit when he was killed. Thank goodness for the Hans device.

not just gay but too damn commercial - they even hired a WWF marketing manager to try to get back the popularity back in the sport - Wood brothers retro paint job , richard petty's name on an Evernhame team just for recognition - keep changing rules, eventually junior will win a championship

hell it worked for me - I loved seeing Bayne win daytona - looked like old times i used to watch Wood bros. just like bret hart back in WWE

ok im gonna pay for this one . dale "the intimidator" did nothing but bash his way into victory lane by rear ending folks and putting drivers into walls. i watched this guy over and over repeatedly sideswiping and bump steering drivers out of control and in my opinion thats not racing ,that is a flat out demolishion derby on a 2 1/2 mile oval track at 180 mph .instead of beating the competition he was wrecking them all the time. i dont think you can legitimately compare busch to dale burnfart. after all, the very same b.s. he pulled on the track is the very same b.s. that got him what he got by one of my favorite drivers of all time, the #40 coors light dodge intrepid driven by sterling marlin who incidently and coincidently , was the last car to touch the goodwrench car from behind before it hit the wall. sometimes carma is really a *****.

Good rant. Not only that, they make it so the "little guy" can't get into it anymore. In the video "Petty Blue" they interview Lee Petty and he said when NASCAR started, he could go to a dealer and buy a Plymouth for $800, do a few modifications and win a race with it. Not anymore, you need millions to compete today and can't do it without sponsors.

Same in NHRA. You need millions and sponsors just to compete out there. Not like the "good ol days" when Don Garlits and Shirley Muldowney would race the "family car" and work their way up through the ranks as they won.

Yes, just like congress, racing is now bought off by corporate America and the little guy has been pushed out.... :wack:
