Having driven a hwy tractor you should be good at doing that Fred. Put a "T" handle on it and mat shift it. Come or bleed I say lolMorning Mark yea I have tried and I do better not using the clutch at all.
It is here too CF. Started out dull and overcast but no rain predicted and it got warm and humid. Went to Wallyworld again this morning and to Lowes $$$$$$ chi-chingWarm Friday here
Yeah we saw that on the noon news Biff. How soon before the Ark is finished?Morning, well the sky’s have opened up first storm of the year bringing 100 mm of rain in 2 days wind gusts to 70kmh, good times ! Have a great Friday and stay safe .
Action sounds like fun haven't been to one in years.I just went and looked at the cities obsolete equipment coming up for a sealed bid auction (in the rain). 1990 D 250 is what caught my eye. Has an herbicide tank on it. They are keeping that. Kind of beat up but real solid. Has the throttle body 5.2 so that kind of bummed me out. 3-speed 727 though. Not sure if those are electronic controlled or not. Really could be a nice truck but needs paint. 92000 miles. I think I'll throw $200 at it and see if it sticks. If you think about it being an herbicide truck, it was probable never driven in the winter. I didnt see any rust on it. Oh... has AC too.

Sounds like you can't go wrong at that price any truck that runs is worth lots more than 200.
That'll be an LA roller cam engine, too. This aint really an auction. just hand in a sealed envelope at City Hall. I wonder how hard it would be to use that fuel injection in an abody
I knew it was an LA with a roller. Dont know much else though. Did they bump the compression on these? That'll be an LA roller cam engine, too.
The TBIs aren't a difficult swap, either- I run a '92 roller 360 with factory TBI in my '66 wagon.
changing to TBI

Good question... not that I know of, AFAIK the compression bump came with the intro of the Magnums. I'll see what I can find out.I knew it was an LA with a roller. Dont know much else though. Did they bump the compression on these?
Sweet. Thankyou. Probably has those swirl port heads. My FSM for '90 lists the 318 at 9:1, the 360 at 8.1:1
Yup. 302s.Sweet. Thankyou. Probably has those swirl port heads.
