Can you try it before buying it? That thing will really suck the hydro won't it?
Yea I can try it out first and your right will use a pit of power my cost now at the coldest months of the year with little 110 volt heaters is $100 for the garage and would cost more using the pellet stove.

Been a funny day again. Rain, sun but very windy. Took my neighbours wife to the Dr's again this morning. She either tripped or had a dizzy spell and did a face plant on the front step. Her face is just one big bruise and a long cut on her nose and the side of her face. The Dr has sent her for xrays to check for anything broken. Just have to wait for the heart specialist now. Her blood pressure and pulse is up and down like a brides nightie.

That's sad Mark but sure glad your there for them.

what about a wood stove?
Wood stove would be great and very cheap because I could have all the fire wood I wanted for free.
Insurance Co. will not let me unless I have an out door wood stove. But want to take off in the winter and wanting my garage to stay above freezing and electric is best for me.

He's in his 80's and she's 78 and they are good neighbours. When we go away they look after our place and will cut the grass or clean the snow and we do the same plus I do a lot of repairs for them. It's a great neighbourhood and most will help if there is a problem but some stick to themselves and that's fine.

As long as it's installed properly and up to code shouldn't be a problem. Lots of guys have woodstove in the garages here. Of course maybe they aren't legal lol

Same here but we dont tell the insurance. I think wood heat is safer if you know what you are doing. Most people have not been taught the correct way to operate one before using it.

I have good neighbors here for the most part but they all stick to themselves and would help them if I need to.

Didn't tell you, yesterday we had a shooting in town. 20 yr old shot dead and sounds like many rounds. They caught the three purps and got the one gun so far. My neighbours mother lives in that apt building so she was all wired up as I would be too. These punks that think they can come in from Toronto and live the same way as they do there we don't need. Probably a drug deal gone wrong so who cares anyway. Another druggie off the street. Just glad nobody else got hurt from a stray bullet

They don't care if installed proper or not here they just won't insure me.

Used wood heat most of my life and your right if you don't know how to operate one best to learn before setting one up.

That's to bad Mark but I know what your talking about we have people moving in here that are on welfare from other states thinking the same.
Walked to a restaurant from work for lunch a few days ago and a new guy in town was on the street corner playing his getar trying to make some free money. Haven't seen that around here.

Yeah I hear ya Fred. We have the panhandlers here in town and all over basically. We have one guy outside the Walmart at the lights. He says he's homeless and will work. The POS has been there for over two years now and one women offered him a job and he refused it. Just wants to play people for fools and hand him money. There is a such a thing called vagrancy which is against the law (or used to be). I've seen cops talking to this guy on several occasions but he's still there so I guess it's legal after all.
I talked to a by-law officer as well and asked about these people living in parks etc. He said we have 100 parks in town and if we move them they just go to another place and the city has to come in a clean the place up which the taxpayers have to pay for. Can't win guys. Supper time so cya tomorrow. Have a great evening.

I here ya Mark I had to delete my last 2 posts because I just get upset about the homeless and there life style.

With the price of lumber today that was a great score. It's going through the roof.

Soooo my 30 year old Ram wont start. After I bought it last Friday I drove it around a little. I stopped at the car wash and pressure washed the engine bay. Drove it about 5 miles after that. I did not try to start it after that. A strange thing did happen though. While I was crawling around underneath it a humming noise started emulating from under there. The key was in the off position. I crawled out from underneath and cycled the key to the run position and back to off and the humming noise subsided. It had to be the fuel pump. The humming was coming from that area and did sound like a fuel pump. NOW I don't hear the fuel pump run and pouring fuel down the throttle body does not induce combustion. Any Ideas? I suck at drivability diagnostics. I did check the rotor and distributor and there is some corrosion. Might throw those parts at it.
The two relays on the left fender energize when the key is turned to the run position. Might throw a couple relays at it too.

Crap sorry I suck at diagnostics also but would think that the water is causing the thing to short out in the ignition.

First thing is to see if you have spark , put the key on the on position ,take the coil wire hold it close to metal somewhere on the engine turn it over with a screw driver on the starter relay see if you get a spark. Is this a carb or EFI ?

Throttle body fuel injection. I'm pretty sure there is no spark cause I primed the throttle body and not even a pop.
