Yikes... that must have hurt
Dusted the dirt off the bike and rode it home with a broken clutch and front break handle.
Ho and a bent front wheel that wobbled all the way home. lol
I don't think any different than the rest of you guys and I bet you have some good stories to tell. SO please do....

My worst is the story from 4 years ago where a blade from the fan came off while I was tuning a friends derby car and cut my arm nearly off. I had my girl drive me to ER while holding a bath towel on it and then sat in ER waiting room for 15 minutes till they took me back. They had be get up on a table and when I took the towel down the guy freaked and said this is trauma. The next thing I knew I was laid down on the bed and rushed to another room where I had nurses and doctors freaking out and went from there to a several hour surgery to reattach everything and clean out the fan belt pieces.
3 days in the hospital and 6 weeks with the arm locked to my side before therapy and return to work. The arm took 6 months to regain most of the movement but it will always feel wierd and never be 100 percent.

Hi guys... beautiful sunny day but windy and was a cold wind so that kinda spoiled it but I'll take it. Went for my first physio today which was just an assessment session.
Got the lawnmower and snowblower out. Had to get my neighbour to pull the cord on the mower after I put the Sta-Bil in it. My wife tried to start it but was a bit stubborn. Two pulls from him and way it went. Fired up the snowblower with the electric start and basically fired right up and let it run. My wife and I changed the sliders. Just couldn't do it by myself as I was hurting too bad. So that is all done and in place to earn it's keep once more.
Threatening possible freezing rain or maybe snow on Sunday. We shall see what develops

Wow you were very lucky CF. Could have turned out a lot worse. You also could have bled out as well.

I remember you telling us about what happened but never heard the details. Damn sorry about that but looks like you didn't give up and you still use that arm.
And after what you went through I will never use a flex fan again.

Yea we got that yesterday so be careful lots of slippery roads.

I will try to get a pic this weekend when I get home. I am going for a parts run 5 hours any to get some parts for the 66 so I can drag it from its spot in the barn soon and get working on it. I picked up the rebuilt injector pump for my smaller diesel tractor and hope to get that on this weekend to see how that runs. I hope I dont need to also rebuild the injectors.
