My personal favorite is the one that looks like one of the "Spy vs. Spy" strips from Mad magazine.
Nothing lasts forever DIY LOL. I had an 87 Cutless Sierra many years ago. The GM battery in that one lasted 13 years as well. Father-in-Law bought the car new and I bought it off him. 2.5 and had piston slap after GM rebuilt it under warranty. Two wrist pins seized up while under warranty. Common from what I hear.

Well guys some people would think I'm crazy for what I just did to my Scamp but was a factory option on the Dusters and Demons with the hood scoop.
I can still get the rubber rings for the holes and I know Scamp never had that option but I wanted it, helps cool things down.
I've always said Fred it is your car, if you like it . Do it . You don't have to please anyone but yourself !!!
Dusters never came with this hood scoop either .
