Worst smoke I've seen all year. Little better this afternoon. Not as hot either.
Took my rockers off of the other side of the engine. They are not as nice as the other side. Been doing some rocker shopping and research.

You gonna be able to get the rockers cleaned up? Could ya go with roller rockers on those heads?
Not gonna clean-up. Shaft area is galled up pretty good. Not a big fan of rollers. I can have these bushed. Not sure what to do yet but ya I should be able to run any stock type replacement. Mancini has some nice Harland Sharps for $419. Kind of over kill for my little motor.

I'm not real knowledgeable on engines but what is the bad part of having rollers?
The tiny needle bearings can fail if spring pressure to high . Or oil issue there good just not as forgiving.

I do body work not mechanical so a bit different and I hate the new aluminum bodies on the Ford trucks mostly.
Plus the expense. Not that much benefit per dollar in my book.
Pretty happy with that. Just got out of the shower and stuffing my pie hole.
The crazy thing it that you can buy it cheaper than we can and it's made in Canada. Tax upon tax is the reason why.
