That 61 bubbletop with the 409 4 speed. I thought the 409 came out in 1962 so not sure if that was maybe a 348 at one time. I was trying to find the owner to find out. Beautiful rare care regardless
Nice place and that far north wouldn't think your gonna find a McDonalds.Off fishing 500 miles north of Winnipeg Manitoba have just decided that is enough work for one life time. I feel for ya Fred View attachment 1715781441

I talked to the guy that has the other 73 Scamp not long ago and he is also on the Chrysler registry but so far just us 2 in year and model. It was a great evening. Beautiful drive and a really good turnout. They always have a great show. Here's some of the cars as promised. Hey Fred found a 75 Duster or Dart Sport with the factory sunroof just like yours.

We put the screens up on the gazebo yesterday as the bees are really active right now. Why did Noah let those mosquitos on the Ark? LOLThey haven't been bad here this year thank god.
Fruit fly's are getting bad here the damn things go right through the window screens. We put the screens up on the gazebo yesterday as the bees are really active right now. Why did Noah let those mosquitos on the Ark? LOL
I believe the correct term is "like covid through a mask"Fruit fly's are getting bad here the damn things go right through the window screens.
Like the Fairlane Thunderbolt, crazy rare car.
Never herd of that paint. Even a slow reducer at 90* is fast so don't blame you in not painting today.Taking it easy myself. c-10 cab is all ready to paint. Dont feel much like sucking 90 degree smoke into my shop. Doctoring up my rocker arms instead. Supposed to cool down Tuesday. Almost too cold for painting. I do have a good choice of thinners though. Been having good luck with the high temp thinner in this heat.
This old truck came with its own paint supplies. Automotive Art its called. I kinda like it.
I hope it all works out for ya. Wish you was stopping here. Ill be waving when you fly over.Well record temps here today 92* so been inside with the a/c on most of the day and hanging out in the garage.
Weather looking good to fly out to Washington on the 19th so far and looking forward in visiting family and friends for a few days.
80 is about the hottest it got in the shop on a couple of different shoots. This clear lays out nice. The color has good coverage too. The primer is some thick shtuff. 4:1:1 for primer and 4:1:2 makes it a really smooth sealer and uses the same hardner as the clear. The clear is 2:1 with 10% reducer. Kinda different and real short window to topcoat. 3 hours on the sealer and no more than 8 for the color so your pretty commited when you pull the trigger on the sealer or ya gotta re-sand.Never herd of that paint. It's all in liters so...Do you know what the cost is on primer, paint, clear?
And you know what the cost of paint supplies so that's a better price. It's all in liters so...
3.5 liters of primer is $147
2.5 liters of hardener is $135
And that's all I know so far.
Mind you that hardener is 2:1in the clear so it goes pretty fast.
