Oh that's a good warm day for sure. Gonna be hard to get use to that big of a drop in temp. in one day.
 
Morning guys and Happy Turdsday. As expected it will be 9c and lots of rain today.
Going to my audiologist this afternoon. He's going to link my hearing aids to my cell and my landline as well. I already have an attachment to link the TV. Hope it works as well as the TV does.

The blue tooth to your cell is awesome, single ear tap to answer, double tap to hang up. You don’t have to touch phone although people look at you kinda funny when your shopping and talking to yourself in an empty isle way. Live stream music off internet, get seri to look stuff up for you. You’ll like it.

I like using SERI as long as you speak clearly LOL. Electronics are amazing these days. Wonder what our parents would think of this whole thing? Now, if we can just get rid of telemarketers and ROBO calls and hackers life would be so much simpler

Other people have complained about that. I don’t seem to have that problem. But I have never listened to one long enough to hear hi. If the # isn’t in my contacts I won’t answer it. I’ll call it back to find out. I guess I’m pretty guarded with my addresses. Just have no need to listen to someone that can hardly speak English trying to sell me shjit

That's exactly what we do as well. If I don't recognize the caller I hit delete. That's what I have caller ID for. Same as the landline we just let the unknowns go to the answering machine and 9 times out of 10 they hang up as soon as they hear the machine. We also have a "block" feature on the landline and use it a lot. Gotta love that one. If unknowns want to talk to me they'll leave a message and I call them back.

Yes technology can be a wonderful thing. With the internet if I am interested in a item or an IDEA I can browse, research and make up my own mind with out other people trying to sell me something.

True story. But you have the option to turn it off. You just have to be smart about what you do. Like when I was driving highway tractor with that CB radio, listening to guys ***** would get old fast so I’d just turn it off.

Since getting them have been paying attention to people with good hearing and people with aids. The amount of what? Pardon me’s are the same. Try this yourself, people for the most part do not speak clearly. Speed of talking, Slang and running words together make understanding each other increasingly difficult. My findings.

Running words together and speaking fast is a person I can't hear even with aids in. Also I have to watch peoples mouth when they talk or most of the time I can't hear them. That's why I need to get them adjusted and hopping it helps.
 
Iv'e had my hearing aids for about 4 years now and rarely use them because working on cars and being alone I just don't need them.
I remember first time putting them on I could hear birds sing for the first time in many years and still can't hear Crickets.

It will, just don’t put all the blame on yourself, even my co worker (good hearing) says he can understand the boss better after I bitched him out a couple of times.
