vdubs sit on a 4 torsion bar suspension. The older style front suspension looks better in a buggy as the newer ones are stamped steel. Vans have a set of gear reduction boxes on the end of axle. If this thing is going to take wheel shock abuse the i suggest to mount transaxle solid, or at least chain the nose cone where the shift rod enters down. Broke several before mounting transaxle solid. Have body parts fred 72 bug

Ya they’ve been promising but nothing yet we have just enough snow to make you destroy your sled. You know melt the sliders into track, burn up a $200 set of carbides, hit rocks and such.
 
Good morning cold here lawns still white ,I mean it’s still got some grass poking through but it’s mostly white :lol: that counts as snow doesn’t it .

How are things out there Biff. The news says roads are starting to open up but are the Ins companies coming through or have they wiped their hands claiming "It's an act of God"? I can see those bastards doing that
 
Well I got a clean bill of healthy at the skin specialist. He did burn off some keratosis but that's usual. ( they are pre-cancerous so good to get them treated)
Been sunny all day and 5c.
 
Here's me and my 67 Chevelle 327 4 speed. I was around 19 and at Diane's parents house. After this picture was taken I had all the names and insignia's taken off and repainted same colour and the area between the taillights painted flat back.
I snapped the gearshift off in my hands during a race and replaced it with a Hirst Comp Plus plus another "T" handle. Never broke that one LOL

Got sunshine! Must go to the nearby higher vantage point to see if there is snow out there in the National Forrest :D. Figueroa Mtn isn't exactly akin to the Sierras, but it's the highest point we have around here.

A blessing. My mom refused to go to a nursing home, but after a broken arm she went back to the doc complaining of sore chest. Doc X-ray her 3 cracked ribs. Doc said every time I send you home you come back with broken bones. So he put her in a home. Best thing for her and me. No more falling and lying about it. Had care round the clock, good food, clean room. Lived her days care free, friends around to talk to, she loved it but put up a fuss to go there oh man what an ordeal.

Having the same problem with my mom I tried to get her to move to my house from Washington so I could take care of her but she wanted to stay home. I understand I feel the same but it's time.
