guess it’s what you call reliable my truck starts real good, has good brakes doors open and close, windows good. Mechanically sound but fenders flap in wind you can see road through cab corners. It’ll go where ever you want it to go, you might have to stop pick up a fender but that would just make a great story. The day the cop dodged the fender off the ford LMAO.
LOL good old truck that's a keeper for sure.

Only ever bought one new car a 91 sundance the wife put over 450,000 km
About 280,000 miles no problems. Just got to rotten, sitting in back 40 now I got time was thinking about making a bush buggy out of it. Using a vdub front end welding the the u joints straight mounting engine and transaxle in rear. Could work. But think of all the higher hp front wheel drive cars you could do this with, blows my head

That would be fun to play with and not to expensive to build.
I don't remember how many 77 or about Honda civics I've done getting totaled out cars some hit in the back some in the front and cutting them in two and welding the two good halves together.

I’ve clipped a few cars. Some people frown on the concept. I think it’s a great way to fix cars.

As you drive you get better gas mileage because the parts fall off making it lighter

Geez that brought back some memories. I was working in Toronto for an autoglass shop. We had a taxi company right downtown. It was a 4 story car park at one time. The top floor was the body shop with there two Italian bodymen there. Neither of them spoke very good English and they were butchers. Probably not even licensed. They would cut two wrecks in half and join the two ends together. A few times their work so bad I had to grind the top of the windshield down and they jacked the roof enough for me to install a windshield then pack it full of sealer so it didn't leak. The good old days lol

Morning fellas and Happy Turdsday.
Had a busy day yesterday first doing stuff in the house then after lunch I cut the front yard and fertilized it as well. I planned on cutting the back today but looks like some rain on the way which is great after fertilizing.
Not much left of this month.
Have a great day

Mark I don’t understand why you are so Adamant on making yourself more work. I fertilized once, was cutting grass till the snow flew and the **** was still growing. Never again. Have yourself a fine day

Seen bodymen like that and grind my teeth when I see that kind of work.

There is a lot of clover which means it needs nitrogen. So this will help get rid of it as it's looks unsightly. We didn't have any last year because we fertilized in the spring but you're right it means cutting more often but it was like a carpet and we never water it.

Well we got some rain today. It really wasn't worth the effort but sure has been humid today.
A long weekend starting Friday and the weather looks really good

Morning and Happy Friday guys.

They make chemicals for that, and I think I heard somewhere that clover is a legume which puts nitrogen back in the soil. Could be wrong though. I have what the father in law calls June grass, it’s a really fine blade natural grass that grows in my bush. With the help of a broadleaf herbicide it has taken over my yard. Very hardy doesn’t freeze out. Gets brown when dry turns green when wet easy to mow. Just don’t fertilize it. I know herbicide is a chemical and not good for environment but so is fertilizer. Reason Lake Winnipeg shows up green on google earth in summer, Algae growth from farmers field run off. My opinions
