And agreedThe perfect scenario Murray and I bet she made friends in the nursing home.
But like everyone else you feel guilty about putting your parents in a facility but best for all.
That must be the cousin of the 426 max wedge in the 63 Plymouth. Never knew they offered it in any other car. You don’t suppose it has the stage 4 heads on it do you.Morning guys and happy whatever day it is lol.
Both my wife and I go for our 4th booster shot this afternoon.
I was at a car show last night and found a real unique car there.
A 63 New Yorker 4 door sedan. Originally a 361 but the guy got hold of a 413 and bored it out to a 426 wedge and get this a factory 3 speed on the floor car.
Never in a million years would have ever guessed a New Yorker would have a 3 speed on the floor.
It had been painted once but still the original colour. What a find.

Me neither Fred. Bit of a rare bird I would thinkWow that has to be rare never seen one with a stick.
He said you can't buy pistons for a 413 (he works at National Moparts) so that's why he bored it out to a 426. He does have a nice cam in it and will put some better heads on it. Technology in needles must have come along way in the last 50 years. I remember getting vaccinated in grade school and it freakin hurt. I mean there was an audible pop when the nurse shoved that 1/2” pipe in your arm. Maybe my skin was thicker then I don’t know. When I went for the covid shot she said roll up your sleeve I waited then she your done, nothing no pop, no pinch, no pain was amazedMorning guys and Happy Hump Day.
My wife and I both went for our 4th booster shots yesterday. They had a great system working and only had to sit for 5 minutes instead of the usual 15 after the shot. This nurse was excellent and never felt the needle at all.
Have a great day everyone
Even better if have a pretty nurse Murray lolTechnology in needles must have come along way in the last 50 years. I remember getting vaccinated in grade school and it freakin hurt. Have on old ford 1/2 ton like that. Couple hundred bucks every 3,4 years just to keep it up and running, well worth having that spare vehicle around. Used it many times over the years. In Manitoba you can get a temporary plate 5 days $35 4 times a year, no safety required as long as you’ve had it registered in Manitoba beforeSo today I worked on my 73 Valiant I adjusted the carb and set the timing at about 8*BTDC and that's about the best spot it runs at. Drove it around the block and looks like I got to do some more adjusting or replacing parts on the old gal but not sure if I want to put money into it. To fix it up would be lots more than it's worth and that is just getting it reliable.
Think it's best to put it away for now and think about what I'll do with it.
Always nice to have an extra truck lying around for sure. Might still think about using the Valiant as a get around car if I can afford to get it reliable.Have on old ford 1/2 ton like that. guess it’s what you call reliable my truck starts real good, has good brakes doors open and close, windows good. Mechanically sound but fenders flap in wind you can see road through cab corners. It’ll go where ever you want it to go, you might have to stop pick up a fender but that would just make a great story. The day the cop dodged the fender off the ford LMAO.Always nice to have an extra truck lying around for sure.
