Seeing the same **** here with the "safe" consumption site crap and homeless people being put up in hotels on the taxpayer dime.

Was more looking at the roll cage than the seats. Might piss a few guys off trying to find 70 Plymouth buckets just for the frame work.
Used gas pipe a bender and an old stick welder. It is the frame of the buggy. Needs netting if you are wanting to roll it. Cool toy. One tip if your going to make one, engine transaxle mounted SOLID. They are know to break the nose cone on trany where the shift rod goes in. Experience talking

Unfortunately it's everywhere and providing injection sites is just condoning it. Get them off this crap and get a job and don't be a deadbeat on the taxpayers.
There are a lot of jobs out there and employers crying out for help but no they'd rather sit there with their hands out. Enough is enough I say but the do gooders are out there encouraging them giving them handouts.
It's a little crass but if they keep overdosing then what's the sense of keep trying to save them?

Well we finally got a huge storm last night with thunder and lightning and a lot of rain.
We were able to shut the air off and open the windows once again.
Some areas are without power. The radio just said there's 40,000 homes without power.
I'm sure the ground was like a big sponge soaking it up.
Have a great day and a great week.

We broke a record here for this year almost 48 hrs. with out a rain shower. Was on the way to father in law’s yesterday and out the corner of my eye I see a large blue area, thought it was flax blooming but when I actually looked it was water covering about 80 acres of field. Mosquitoes are nuts they're big enough to go crunch when you slap them.

I think we used to do the solid mounts on the engine end but used VW's finest on the shifter end

There was also a strap over the top of the transaxle at the shift shaft end

The most fragile and susceptible to chassis flex part of the transaxle was the shifter cone, so we left the rubber cushion at that point.

Agreed but after solid mounts all around and a chain over trans axle problem solved

Been busy all day here mostly on the phone just checking in and was going to say HI ALL but I would rather give you guys a bad time just because I'm old and can get away with it. :icon_fU:
Can't wait till I'm totally senile and all the cares in the world just seem to roll off my back. LOL

And we'd be new friends every day.

Been a lovely day. 24/25 degrees all day and a nice wind blowing. Good day to work.
Car show tonight for sure. Missed a few because of the extreme heat and humidity.

Looks like my mother in law is moving to North dakota and found her a nice townhouse that is Hinicaped accessible. SOOO she moves in with me or the townhouse. Not looking for anymore places for sale or rent she has 2 options and she needs to decide.
There I did my duty for the day and really not much available around here to buy or rent.
Could ya all give me a atta boy for trying...

My parents put theirs parents in care homes didn’t bat an eye. I remember the old man saying not playing nurse maid for anyone. So my decision was made at about 24 years old. Not playing nurse maid for anyone. Dad never made it to old folks home, Mom did about 4 years. Was best for everyone.

Both of my parents died at home even though Dad did not know it. He was always asking to go home. What a terrible way to die. My step Mom and I took care of him till the end. Wasn’t too hard with the help of hospice. Dad was as good of a patient as he was a person in general. Never complained other than wanting to “GET OUT OF HERE”
I’d always start with where he was born and go through all of the places he lived and built along the way. Seemed to help for a while.

As much of a pain in the neck my mother in law has been to me I could be an *** hole but I choose to be the better person and just take care of her.
