Had a great time at the car show and they had drag racing as well.

Here's a cool ride for a car show. A friend of mine bought this and him and his brother were driving it all over the place drinking beer out of the coolers.

This one split ice cream all over the table and was determined not to waste it. Mom was laughing to hard to stop her fast enough.

This is my friend Gary or 3406pak with his 74 Duster 408 and did an awesome time in the 1/8th mile 7.1 if I got the time right.
Got a ride in that beast last year and very impressive.
 
Was a much needed time out for me today and really had a good time with family, old friends and new friends.

I think it was on a program called Shade tree Mechanic they suggested using 7up and some panty hose to clean it off and seemed to work great and won't hurt the paint etc. Guess you can always borrow your MIL's unless there's something you haven't told us Fred lol

I got into bed last night and just about asleep and a coyote must have caught a small snack before bed right under our window. What a creepy sound, then try to get to sleep again. Yeah right

Well I finally got a tire company to come out and change the tires on my combine. Three breakdowns and 2 remounts with 2 new tubes was 750 for everything. I think it was cheaper this way than hurting myself with those huge tires. I still do my smaller ones.

Morning guys looks like another nice day and going to enjoy the good weather as much as I can before winter hits.
Looks like MIL gave me her GMC pick up so I better get a block heater for it soon.
 
Lots of smoke in the air this morning, gonna be another hot one in the 90s. I have to get out to the garage and get some work done before it gets too hot. Got the motor out of the Bronco yesterday and the fresh one hanging on the picker, ready to drop in. Have a few small things to do first, cutting off broken exhaust studs from the flanges, pop in the rear main seal, and install the flex plate, then in it goes. Have a great day everyone.
