Good morning and happy Sunday not a lot going on around here every thing shuts down early September so it’s a long fall and winter with no car stuff going on tis the rainy season but no rain in sight and record highs during the day lately. Stay safe
I saw on the news yesterday that gas in Vancouver is 241.9 a liter. Is that all over BC Biff?

Been a gorgeous sunny day. Bit cool with the wind though
Cool here I think it got to 68* for a short time but cloudy and might get some rain tomorrow.
Wind always is a blowing here and if I fart outside the guy 3 miles away can smell it. SORRY NEIGHBOR. LOL

Yep looks like a weenie roast for dinner Charlie.
Too tired to do anything for dinner. Not sure what is happening to my stamina. Might order a pizza. its perfect for some weenies though. I used to do stuff like that all day. About 4 hours and I was done. Might have something to do with the night before.

Yea and I'm older than you and after roasting a bunch of branches I think that would be enough for me.
Cheers my friend and after a movie and one more round I'll be in bed. lol

Been a busy few days here, got off work early Friday, came home and replaced the fried steering column in my Dart, ( thanks gdrill! ).
Had to do a little bit of wiring repair, the ignition switch shorted out, cooked the fusible link before I could get the battery disconnected, and there were some minor differences from my column to the one I got from George, but at least it runs again, and I have a real steering wheel instead of that aftermarket quick release pos. I also took out the shitty aftermarket seats that came with it, and bolted in a pair of buckets from a 2000ish Dakota that I snagged from the local auto wrecker a few weeks ago. Much more comfortable, plus they recline, got them from a club cab model, so both seats also flip forward, something the crap I took out did not do. Nice cloth upholstery, and in pretty good shape too. I even decided to install the rims I bought in February. Holy ****, I've been putting a lot of time into this shitbox! I replaced all of the wiper bushings earlier this summer, and I also got some defroster hoses rigged up, cleaned up the instrument cluster, replaced the bulbs, replaced one of the heater control cables, should have done both,:BangHead:, also changed the fan switch, and put in a coolant reservoir/windshield washer tank combo from a fox body Mustang that I had laying around, still need to wire up the pump and get hoses and windshield squirters.
Today I opened up the wiring harness on the motor I took out of my Bronco and was able to find out why the oil pressure and temp gauges didn't work, changed 4 wires on the other engine's harness, and problem solved! Spent the rest of the day tidying up the garage and loading up some scrap metal into my trailer so I can make a run to the scrap dealer in town. Now I'm on beer #2, and about to have dinner.

Tomorrow in the big pile of coals do a can cooker. Potatoes, carrots, onions seasoning as you go, a chicken some farmer sausage Corn on the cob on top 2 beers clamp lid on bury it in the coals. About 45 min later depending you have an awesome meal invite lots of friends a full cooker will feed many. Easy one pot dinner. To serve dump into a cooler. Had many great parties around the fire pit

You been busy buddy and I understand the pain of trying to keep the old car on the road and looks like your doing the same.
Cheers Randy hope you have a good night and get it all fixed.

Sounds good and some of the fish you got would be perfect on the grill.

I know what you mean BP. My stamina has gone right down the tubes. I can still sometimes cut the grass without stopping but sometimes I have to stop several times. It's an age thing for sure.
If you wake up alive it's going to be a good day.

A bunch of jobs well done. Gives you a nice feeling when you get some headway.
