Lots of miles on it but guessing a diesel.
You ever find a replacement truck yet?
right you are, and still pulling strong at that
she is sweating a little horsepower though, if you catch my drift

but the body is rusting away as we speak
you saw the "fix" i had to do to the running board right?

they had 3 brackets per side where it bolted to the rockers, and man did they rock...i ended up welding a piece of angle iron as brace from those brackets to the frame, solid now

i have not yet found a replacement
a buddy of mine owns a dealership, so i gave him my wishlist and hes keeping his feelers out for me
i figured that way, he can pick one up at auction, from a state where they dont use roadsalt for about 2/3rd of what i would pay for one here

i told him i would like to have it sitting in the driveway when we (his family, mine and another) all go on spring break this year, so well see what happens

Salt sure takes a big bite out of metal and hard to keep a truck from rusting away. Hope you find a good truck to replace yours.

It’s all about respect. I’ve said this many times, something you can’t legislate. Should have been learned in childhood, but can’t teach an older dog new tricks so good wack them punks where it hurts in the wallet. We got nothing to worry about.
Most kids around here are good there all farm kids and show elders respect but a few need to be slapped.

Well chit it’s cold here too 3c with -7 wind chill and boy is it howling out side practice tonight was so nice to have the turnout gear on .

Around here also but live close enough to the city to see what’s going on. In my opinion the problem was not created here, it migrated here. How ever if I state my mind I will be pegged a racist. Enough said

Loud mufflers are one thing I have them, you have them. They rumble unless your walking on it. What the problem is, Rice burners with their FART CANS, and young punks that love to listen to extra loud sewing machines, so loud I’ve witnessed people at intersection crosswalks covering their ears. Just a bunch of punks saying oh look at me, ASSHOLES
I hate those **** boxes with the fart cans. All they do is make noise. A 4dr with a fart can just doesn't do it.
Some of the bikes as well. I do say Loud Pipes Save Lives which is fine to a point.
I guess if you act like an asshole you'll pay like one too

You have to watch what you say today. You say something with good intentions and some dick will take it the wrong way and then pull the race card. Too many stiff asses around today. Back in my day you could raz someone who was a different colour or whatever and we all had a laugh. Within reason of course. One word I will not tolerate is the "N" word. Although today people of colour call themselves the "N" word and think nothing of it.
If I did that (which I would never do) it would be disrespectful

So... Morning guys and Happy Hump Day.
**** will hit the fan today weatherwise.
I'll be staying home today no doubt.
Have a great day

That’s exactly what my old man beat into my head and I did my boys as well. The old man said “ If your going to act like an asshole be prepared to be treated like an asshole” No truer words have ever been spoken. Respect is a funny thing, without giving there’s no getting.

Morning Gents she’s a brisk one this morning, absolutely clear skies-35C with a -45 wind chill. Have a great day stay warm

Good Morning looking at a 76 Monte Carlo this morning on the way to work that has sat for years. It is all complete which is hard to find these days. Possible flip.

Liked the older Monte Carlo's should be an easy one to flip.

Good. Just realized that the older I get the more I get like a little kid. Just spent all that time getting bundled up to go outside then I got to take a crap. Funny as hell the old lady laughing, me crabbing and bitchin right out of a stand up comedians shtick

:rofl:Could be worse you could have gotten out side cover your boots in snow then have to make a mad dash back to the house.

Yes there are those questions you wish you could evaporate into thin air.
Do these pants make me look fat?
No right answer BOOM.
How’s my driving?
BOOM
Say nothing, you guessed it BOOM.
If you don’t want an answer don’t ask the question.

reminds me of a few years back, in one summer the wife had 4 flats on her car
and not "driving by a construction site and wrecking all 4 at once" this was, one would go out, id fix it and a week later the next would go out

it was a real pain, came to a point where i put the winter tires back on in order to buy me some time to fix the flats

finally im wondering out loud why she keeps getting flats, and she says "maybe the rail road crossing 32nd by lincoln has something to do with it"

now, i have no idea how a railroad crossing could be bad for tires, so i asked her "how in the world can a railroad crossing be the reason you keep getting flat tires?"

and she says "every time i hit it i catch a few feet of air"

yeah, and she was driving a 4000 pound charger at the time
she wont admit to it, but im thinking she might have caught a few eposides of the dukes of hazzard when she was lil

Yea me too .
Looks like I'm just missing a bad storm down here lucky me.
Well the Monte Carlo looked good and complete it even ran pouring gas in the carb but she sat for years on the dirt which ate the bottom alive. I grabbed the bottom of the drivers quarter and could almost pull the quarter off the car
