Gros Mardi. French translation. It’s the last day before Lenten. Tomorrow is Ash Wednesday.
It was 36 degrees when I got up this morning and no snow. It’s 18 now and full on blizzard.
The cold weather has arrived, and brought the snow back with it. We're at 6*f with a windchill of -11* presently and a winter storm warning is in effect. Got about 2 inches of snow yesterday and another 3 or 4 overnight, could see a total of 12 to 15 inches by the end of today. Temperatures are going to drop to -12*f over the next 24 to 48 hours, but should rebound by the weekend to mid 30s again. We do need the moisture, it's been very dry for a long time, but the cold is not welcome, tired of freezing my *** off, gonna need to have Fred make me a new one.

-30 C overnight presently sitting at a balmy-24 clear as a bell over night thin cloud now. Humidity up there so the cold just bites. Wtf it’s the end of Feb. can remember years where they didn’t think they’d have enough ice to run the Canadian power toboggan championships.

Well now my son bought 2 trucks. The 1st was an 03 at a good price and this weekend he got an 06 for 100 that he drove home over 100 miles no problems. They are both good trucks that need rockers
Down to 3* and windchill -17 now, still snowing.

We went out around 10 this morning and there was a light snow. We got down the road and it was just pounding down in big flakes. Later we came out of Lowes and it had stopped and overcast but quite windy.
We went out for lunch and then Costco and on the way home, believe it or not there was some asshole driving his bright yellow sports car with the top down. I did a double take...DUH!!!!

Hey Murray... I heard today that the Mayor of Winnipeg has outlawed loud mufflers. Is that true? They'll be a lot of pissed off people if that happens.

All kinds on the road but bet he had the heat cranked up.

Funny you say that I have an 05 loaded I bought new with 70,000 on it now
Wow real low miles.
It's comfortable to drive and just feels good. Also like the body style.

Loud mufflers are one thing I have them, you have them. They rumble unless your walking on it. What the problem is, Rice burners with their FART CANS, and young punks that love to listen to extra loud sewing machines, so loud I’ve witnessed people at intersection crosswalks covering their ears. Just a bunch of punks saying oh look at me, ASSHOLES
Don't have that problem yet or the kids with there loud music cruising down the road but Think I'd also put a stop to it.
My first city counsel meeting tonight in about 20 minutes and hope it goes well.

It’s all about respect. I’ve said this many times, something you can’t legislate. Should have been learned in childhood, but can’t teach an older dog new tricks so good wack them punks where it hurts in the wallet. We got nothing to worry about.
