HELP!!!! it started snowing and it started coming down in big flakes.
Thank goodness it's stopped now. Just enough to piss you off.
1.5 hrs north of here they've called an emergency.
Take it easy if you're shoveling for the first time this year and remember to lift with your legs.
Have a great evening

That "I hit a bridge" flat tire and wheel  Desert racin' the Baja Bug in the old homeland, near the peak of this one nasty hill was a bigass rock that stuck out into the track. It had chunks of Centerlines stuck to it and busted pieces of wheels scattered all over the place. I told my co driver to warn me when we got close. BANNGGGG! :wtf: and we looked at each other . Going down the hill I felt no difference in the car. We hauled ***. Got to our main pit where driver change was planned. "Look at that right rear!" I screamed at them and I wrestled myself out of the driver seat. Got to that tire to see. The rim was bent so bad it was covering a couple of lug bolts . The inner tube was bulging out a little bit  We had to use a 24" Crescent wrench with a 6' snipe on it to bend it back enough to get the lug wrench on it .

Morning guys. Thankfully we didn't get hit in that storm. Bit chilly though.
Here's a picture of Gravenhurst 1.5 hrs north of us.
They got 1 metre (39") of this crap. Two cars under there somewhere
Have a great day

Wow! Seen that only once or twice in my life....

Somewhat off-topic, but I've been going back and forth about what to do with the ceiling in the "shep" next year: Leave it open and use the rafters for storage, or put-in a ceiling and leave the attic alone (just insulate it). Given the snow load seen here, and knowing that we can (and have!) had similar in the past, I may just close-off those rafters after all.

Maybe.

The main hwy just opened up about an hour ago. People were stranded in their cars for over 12 hrs.
They even brought equipment from the Toronto airport to clear the roads.
The worst I've ever seen it
WOW that's not good. I won't complain about the weather here after hearing that.
