Morning guys and Happy Hump Day and Wheelies Wednesday.
there is a big storm coming but basically going around us. We may get 3" if that.
But north and east of us will get their share.
The school buses are already cancelled where my daughter lives.
My neighbour said he will take care of our driveway for us. He's a great guy.
As I've said before "the whole neighbourhood is great". Everybody helps everyone
Have a great day

good morning guys.....no snow yet in my neck of the woods. had an interesting adventure changing out my wife's snows on sunday. First time working on a Audi A3. A forty minute job took 2 hours...you litterly have to hold the wheel on with one hand and your knee while you grab the wheel bolt and feed into the first hub instead of the conventional lug nut. sooo not used to that sillyness. Got used to it and found the technique but man...what a humbling experience that was for me. Dont laugh guys, I wasn't when it was happening :)

A male nurse came in my room to take me to the operating room, he picked up a syringe and a small bottle. The elevator doors were right across from my door, he now I’m going to give you a little something to calm your nerves by the time he pushed me across the hall I was in LA LA land. Best buzz I ever had

I've been anesthetized 7 times so far. Hoping for no more. Glad you survived. I have 2 friends who went through some severe brain trauma. They aint the same as they was.

I've been "under" more times than I care to remember, and it's gotten to the point now that I mess around with the anesthetists by telling them, "I'm gonna fight you!"

Almost ever single time they come back with, "Ok, but I'm going to win!"

And they do.

hah...german built
Takes a while to get used to the tech of those old Vdubs. Not better tech just different. And anesthesiologists, I remember her saying count backwards from 100. I said 100 and lights out for 5 days. My first memory 5 days later was my wife sitting beside me.

My lights where already out for one of them. Ruptured spleen 40 minuets from a hospital. Just about a gonner on that one.

Similar story here. 8th grade, playing football. Went home, and told my parents I just wanted to get some sleep. Thankfully they noticed I looked "off a bit", and they took me to the ER. Afterwards the Doc said if they hadn't brought me in I may not have woken-up.

I started out with an inguinal hernia, then two cataracts removed 2 weeks apart. Now one shoulder replacement last year and another one tomorrow. Next will be another inguinal hernia on the other side this time at a later date.
I'd never had any surgery till I hit 70 and only one night in hospital. This time it's day surgery and home sometime in the afternoon.
