I have not jumped in here in a long time, hope everyone is fine, looks like a great day here in northeast Arkansas, nice and cool.
Hi Mike...I wondered where you got to. How's that ac working for ya? Got you first hydro bill yet?
Getting rain here today but this is the calm before the storm. Going to be in the high 30's low 40's over the weekend. The good news it's another long weekend for those who have to work. Have a great day my friend.

No bill yet, but it is doing great !! I hope to be painting the underneath of the hood today, then get the fire wall painted , I have pre fit the 360 in and the headers (Fit great) removed the engine and headers , now I can get some paint flying
Have a super great long strong end (I don't do week ends, I have strong ones :D:D ) make the best of it Mark

Eating better and drinking more water Mark, Not been to town to get one yet I will this weekend.

Looking really good Mike. I put an aluminum intake on mine last Saturday. When we took the carb off (Holley) the right front anchor was broken so I hope to get it back either today or tomorrow. I can then clean the car up for the shows on the weekend. I drove it home and even with the broken tab it ran fine and got caught in a huge rainstorm. At one point I could hardly see the end of the hood.

If I got caught in a rain storm with the scamp my trunk will fill with water and have to hurry home before the car sunk.

Mike what kind of paint are you using on your car and what color are you going. I'm still trying to decide what I will do to mine.
Going with single stage under the hood, and base coat everywhere els, going to put the correct color on, who ever painted it last missed it. The inside of this door is correct, outside is wrong color

my wiper pivots are leaking
each time i get caught in the rain, it reminds me of those movies where a car runs into the river and slowly starts filling up

Schumacker makes the kit for them. Right side isn't too bad but like my friend says "you'll be twisted up like a puppy trying to F8$K a football" doing the left side.

Mine leak too and have to take the car apart to dry it out.

Sounds like the way to go. Looks like a hard color to spray and base clear will work well.
Base coat will be easy (for me anyway) I have sprayed a few, so no tiger stripes or clouds in this one this single stage is something I have dun years ago, hope I can lay it down nice under the hood,

Mine do too...not too bad and I have the kit for it but shoulders are really bad so can't reach up over my head so I will have to get a friend to do it. He may not be my friend after he does it though lol.
Actually, because I don't drive it in the rain usually I may just leave them alone.

I'm sure you will do fine. If I lived closer I would let you use my sanders and spray guns, they been sitting around to long and need a good work out. Damn spray guns I got on sale and they were $600 each and now they just sit on the shelf till I restore the scamp.

I here you Mark I'm small and still have a hard time, I can get under the dash no problem just can't get back out to easy.

Same here, I am glad I cane spray the top as I will be on walk boards to shoot it white then call it a day, come back and spray the gold and not have to reach over the top with the paint gun , bad enough shooting the car all over, I bet my sons will be there when I do, Creed (my youngest) can spray if my shoulders can't keep up, when they start burning they lock up bad (shoulders)

Oh man !! I hear that, I have a couple gravity feed guns that I have not used in 8 years, still in great shape, they get used by my son and the friends that helped me get the new front and rearend in.

I have arthritis, tendonitis, bursitis and partly frozen shoulders. Other than that they are fine. A bugger getting old. Did I mention my hands?
