No Fred haven't touched it , Son is going through a separation with his wife , funds are kind of tight for him right now. He has 2 girls one is 8 and the other is 12 . trying to work things out ! He kind of wants to keep his savings for the time being , might need to pay a lawyer.
 
He had the steering shaft break in !/2 after a wheel shot bent the left upper a-arm into the shaft.

Your shoulders are like mine Mike. I started work at 17 and finished at 64. A lot of heavy physical work but I was in really good shape and had a 6 pack, it's now a 2 four. Too much ice cream LOL

Oh that's too bad FOG but I understand as my son is going through the same thing. Glad to get rid of that BBB Witch lol. Our daughter has a loser that figures he shouldn't have to work and just live on disability. Piece of crap. I told her we're going to pick her next husband lol I'd like to punch him between the peepers.

I hear you on that one FOG. Fortunately the boys have adjusted to the separation. Thankfully the boys and the stepdaughter decided to stay with their dad, they were all given the chance to pick one or the other. When her daughter didn't want to go with her that tells you something. Since the separation the daughter has been brainwashed by the mom and has since moved to her place. It funny because the mom totally ignored her since birth and my son raised her since she was 3 yrs old and now 19. We know she has only sucked up to the daughter so she would encourage the boys to move to her place 4 hours away from our son. Believe me she's a piece of work and she's laying guilt trips on the boys trying to get them to move there. She's after the child support so she can support her pot habit. She goes through a 1000 dollars of weed a month, it has to be the high end stuff. What a tangled web we weave. Other than that she's a sweetheart LOL NOT!!!!

Did you get your carb back today Mark ? What a difference the intake makes weight wise. The cast one weighs 75 lbs. Did you get a duel plane or a single?
 
Sorry to here that FOG and Mark. Send the son in law and daughter in law over here to North Dakota because cell phones don't work and easy to get lost in winter.

No derbies till next year now. We will fix this to re-run and build a 2002 Grand Marquis we have that is my ol ladies old car.
 
Gotta love vacation days. Getting some things done this week. Today I pulled the daily driver Crown Vic in and replaced front springs, front shocks, sway bar links, upper ball joints, one lower ball joint, pitman arm, inner and outer tie rods with adjusting sleeves, left wheel bearing and left ABS sensor. All those parts were bad with 115,000 miles. Dirt roads are hard on cars. They are going to pave my road before the end of the year so it should last awhile this time.

sway bar links always go first, only had my escape three years and they started to rattle.

Yep after 62 years I am starting to rattle and shimmy, and my ball joints are wore out.
I think a good grease job would help but my girl friend left to visit her mom for a few weeks.

Morning FOG...I should get the carb back today I'm thinking. The weight difference is phenomenal for sure.
It is a duel plane intake but I have to replace the henweigh as well. Once I get it running I need to do a major clean-up after getting
