Really Mark not sure why it was so high. she was good looking but I am not sure that she made my blood pressure go up that high. I will put it on my kids to test it, and take it to the clinic and see if it is reading right.

They should be happy enough that the old girl was still alive and they could get a few more bucks out of her, but they have to dig deep and suck every dime they can.

And they have the guts to tell me that I am a baby boomer and that's another reason to tax us even though I paid my way.
Sure seems silly FOG That we all pay our way through life and we have to pay for the people that don't want to contribute and eat off of us.
I don't mind helping some one in need, but seems to be to many people that are bloodsuckers.

Sorry again was in a conversation with my kids about the homeless and e legals in this country and I guess you got my point of view.

Perfect answer pisses me off to ,first off get a job even if it is a meaningless, stop doing drugs , ok so now the argument with the bleeding Hart’s ,they are mentally challenged, ok so if that’s the case they know not to **** in there pants , they know where to go for hand outs , so they know how to make choices, it’s tough I get it but for god sake stop doing drugs/drinking go to a 12step program it has worked for many many people , I’m tired of this chit , nobody ever really helped me out I had to work for everything I have today, just my 4cents.

Good one Biff...I totally agree with you. If people keep giving them handouts that just encourages them and others to keep doing it. (A free lunch so to speak) I know you have a lot of overdoses in B.C. and this may sound cold hearted but if this is the life they have chosen then why should we spend millions on them trying to straighten them out or save them from dying if they're going to go right back at it. I'm tired of seeing these people standing at stop lights with signs "Homeless and Hungry with a family to support". I saw a guy doing that right in front of Walmart and get this, there was a sign right in the front entrance saying "We're hiring". What a moron. I'm willing to help anyone who shows me they are trying to help themselves but to all those lazy druggies/drinkers who can't control themselves and just want a handout so they don't have to work, sorry pal...not happening. Time to get off my soapbox.

Wouldn't it be interesting to know how much tax a car collected from the time it left the assembly line to the day it gets crushed? Personally...I think a big item like that should have a limit on the tax you have to pay when buying them. A 500 dollar tax on a brand new car should be the limit and then depletes the older it gets. In Canada we pay 13% on an already overpriced POS. G.M. builds cars right here in town and then they are shipped to you guys in the south and we pay a lot more than you do. How fair is that?

Wow Fred..that is in nice shape. Hope it's that nice when you get up close to it. 12,500 would be a steal I think. I take it that it has a V8 flathead. Those sound nice and have a sound all to their own

Hi Mark. Yes flat head V8 and a 3 speed manual.
I hate looking for cars that I'm not buying myself and really not wanting to tell my father in law what I think good or bad. Gonna send him lots of pictures and I hope he doesn't make me deiced to make a choice for him.
At the price the guy is asking I would think that it's gonna have some issues.
I love my father in law and don't want to let him down.
 
For sure FOG but I know I will be late getting there and will be up to my elbows in grease trying to keep it running.:steering:
