Yea would love a 440 but would get too much HP and end up shitting my self in acceleration.
New seats, new paint, new wheels and tires, new engine and all the little up grades. I should just buy a new hellcat and be done with it. But having fun wasting all my money.
Did you finally settle on keeping the cinnamon color that is on it? Just freshen that up? Powder coating bumpers black would make it pop! Bring the bumpers over and I will weld out and buff down any holes you want patched, over a adult beverage and some good music of course.

I think it will be close to the same color anyway.
I think a cold beverage and music sounds good probably won't get much work done though. But what the hell would be good.

lol not the plaid,,, solid red with white logo hahaha Big Bald guy!
Ok gotcha, Nothing wrong with being bald you know the old saying grass don't grow on a busy street.
By the pictures it looks like more of a party than work. My kinda job.

No enchiladas but were good. Was feeling bad before dinner so not sure what's up.
Slept in and that helps.
Yeah that happens occasionally. Always wash your hands after you've to stores etc. Best place to pick up germs from shopping carts etc. Colds and flu germs run rampant. And we all know that some people go and take a dump and don't wash their hands as well. Filthy habit. Feel better Fred and have a great day.

Yea I agree Mark very important to keep clean mostly when cooking. When I went to Fargo on Tuesday I ate out the entire day so think that had something to do with it.
Have a great day and stay out of trouble.

More importantly what do you think of the color! If you have eliminated Sublime (Hah) I like the brown better than the copper. Go with what you like guy heck with all us!

Yea I know I will have to live with it. Gonna be the first car that I ever restored for me and not someone else. Been waiting for this moment for years and sorry guys but I am in the middle of a brain fart I feel guilty and happy at the same time. I'll be off the rag in a day or so and come up with what I want.
Gonna go get a beer and have a good cigar and look through the color chips. lol

What have you used in the refinishing you have done in Sublime?

I am using that color and am not kverly experienced (understatement) as a painter. I am leaning toward Base coat/Clear coat rather than a 2 part. Thoughts?

Jeff I wished you lived closer. I am not the best at restoring a car and like to do things my way and am sure you have heard it all from a lot of guys that say they know what they are doing. so you have to decide from all the paint guys out there the best way to go.
Base clear is more expensive but more forgiving in buffing out all the dirt as far as I am concerned.
The hardest part of a paint job is to fallow the manufactures spray coat times as to when to put the next coat on according to temp. If you do not wait long enough you will get bubbles in the paint job after it is done. the paint has to dry in between coats if not you get solvent popping and could make the clear coat peel off or if you wait to long between coats.
Not trying to scare you just giving you my experience. I know you will do a good job.
And just one more thing if you can put up with me rambling on. When you get ready to paint the car if you are not using a paint booth I might be able to help you keep the dirt down off the car, let me know and I will ramble on some more.
