morning guys. yes the surgery went very well. Strange trying to type with the left hand.
I was home buy three. they had given me a shot in my right neck and it blocks any pain right down to my hand.
that works well believe me. i was just starting to get the feeling back in my hand at 9pm. i couldn't feel or move anything.
just on tylenol x strength right now but probably need something stronger later.
anyway glad it's over.
the dr's and nurses were excellant and were so caring.
have a great day
The doctor that put me back together was strict with pain killers. He only let me have the good stuff for 2 weeks then like you it was Tylenol after that.

Well hunting is over for another year. 3 nice bucks hanging,3 sides of pork coming. It’ll be a family 3 day weekend processing, cut and wrap, grind, make sausage and smoke. Lots of whiskey’s I’m sure. Digging the band saw, grinder, stuffer out and sharpening a **** load of knives. Wife’s working the other big job washing everything out, mostly just a little dust. The big washing job is after all is said and done. Wife bought a doz. Fat farm chickens, get a few steaks as we go and meat for the year
Had to get grinder out of the Dart shed, he didn’t even snort just a steady ZZZZZZZZZZZ. Make it a good one guys
as gold ole Don would say..."He's a good Canadian boy"...Ron should be ashamed of himself for not backing Cherry up years ago....Cherry is a true canuck! For the Yanks in the house...Don Cherry was a true no holds bar Canadian lad!

going to a hockey game tonight..leafs vrs the washington caps..I'll have an overpriced beer on you!

If an alien asked about hockey and you told him it’s a game played on ice with 6 guys chasing a piece of rubber around carrying sticks trying to hit the guy by the net. He’d look at you sideways. If you told him they strap steel blades to their feet, he’d just leave shaking his head

here's something i found on facebook. this is the brock theatre in Whitby where i grew up.
i met my wife there in jan of 1962. she was 13 and i was 14 and went together for 10 years and now married for 52 years

nah, just tell them you went to fight and a hockey game broke out

A lot of the snow is now gone thanks to the Chinook over the last few days. Today's high was 49*f, and it still is that warm at 6:30 pm, plus a westerly 'breeze' of 35 mph with 50 mph gusts. More of the same forecast for tomorrow.

Eat that snow Chinook. Pretty much locked in on frozen rain and more snow. Its a slippery sucker.

Know what you mean, slippery than snot on a door knob. Roads were frozen and it rained all mile roads slick. 30 mph at best.
Man, I've almost busted my *** a dozen times. I hate using salt but damn...

My lawn is green again, it was raining this morning when my wife and I went out to do some errands, stopped now but still cloudy. Only snow left is areas where it was piled up from shoveling. Currently 49*f with a west wind of 17 gusting to 22 mph, it can stay like this for another 3 months as far as I'm concerned.
