LED Headlights installed..

Are your parking lights led also? And is it an amber bulb with a clear lense or other way around?

Yes... My parking lights are "Amber LEDs".... All the Lights, interior and exterior Are LEDs ... Except, for the Radio Light... There needs to be at least ONE bulb in the circuit that has Resistance... ⚓

I don't have the best picture but these ones were direct fit and they are very bright, and because LEDs draw so little amperage they don't require a relay. I have replaced every bulb in the car with LED's for that very reason, you get the brightness of new cars without all the hassle of wiring and relays.

Thanks for the idea, here's the jeep wrangler LEDs in my Duster.
My buddy brought up the hellcat's intake lights. I have no idea what size they are or if it'd be possible to fit them, but they'd sure look cool.

I’m not seeing a pic?

The first set I bought for the Jeep... Ended up in my 65 Cuda (see page one of this thread)... I was/am so happy with these... I ordered a second set ... And this time put them in my damn JEEP Wrangler !!!! At $92 bucks for the pair... I could not pass this up... Love my 65 Cuda @ 2016 Jeep LED lights... I'm sure they will get even cheaper in the near future... But my 73 year old eyes needed them Now!!!!

The retaining ring around my lights have 3 notches in them, I suppose to keep the light from spinning. They didn't line up with the jeep light in the position it showed the light should be situated. Did you run into that issue too?

Lined up with my cuda bucket's 3 notches perfectly... With the word "DOT" on the lense on top !!! The instructions that come with LED head lamps are screwy or confusing.... They also lined up with the Jeep notches... Same way...

When lights are on... Low beam... The top 3 clusters are lit... On High beam, the bottom Big one also lights (all 4)

ah, then mine are upside down. I tried to look at the pic it included and it showed the larger bulb on top, or at least I think it did.

The "Black" LED lamps were $93 for the pair.... See my install at beging of this thread... Worth the cost and work... You decide !!!!

Like my '73 Duster and as clif said in the beginning, it will take some minor modification. The heatsink on the back of these LEDs isn't as taper as the stock headlamp, so to make it fit all the way into the housing you'll need to shave off part of the heatsink to taper the back. I used a cutting wheel on my angle grinder. So yes, they *can* fit into your '74 but you'll need to do a little extra work. The harness for the light will match up to your existing plug, so no fancy wiring needs to be done.

Worth the cost and work... You decide !!!!
I agree. I do like the look and the visibility is so much better I actually want to drive at night now.

Add them halos to that. Amazon 90 mm halo leds!! Gives the look of the new cars

Where are you guys finding the clear parking light lenses?

FYI there’s a place in Simi Valley Ca called High Octain lighting that sell period correct and new style LED and HID plug and play headlights to fit our cars.
I purchased a pair for my 74 Duster, plugged them in and Wow, Amazing headlamps, I am in no way affiliated with these guys just super happy with my purchase.
I paid $89 for the pair.
